I have said multiple times that I made a lot of mistakes with Game Changer. I know that the story got away from me, and I know that the ending is stupid and unsatisfying. I'd like to move on and make new stories, hopefully ones that people will enjoy, hopefully ones with good endings. I regret how I handled the story, and I regret that I let people down, and I just wanted people to forget about it. Honestly, part of the reason I wrote Dirty Mind was to give people something to talk about that wasn't how shit Game Changer's ending was. That turned out not to work. I'm just going to keep working on Good Things when I have the time and hopefully after that I'll steadily be able to put this behind me. That's all. I didn't like it just as much as you didn't like it.

I know it's gonna cause some controversy but I guess there isn't a "best" way to end it, as people are extremely divided as what they want to happen. I tried to go with a bad ending, but as you could see, I was running into a dead end.
My weakness has always been endings. I consider myself very good at developing an interesting story, but endings have never been my strength. Hopefully one day I'll be able to improve that part of my writing.

Except no, because I voiced my complaints with the story and the direction it took AS WELL as my disdain with the choice of name. And when he promptly said that the name was pure coincidence, I continued in saying that even withstanding the name I felt there was a lost of way in the story, even before the jail thing. Not enough that I would ever actively suggest rewriting anything, but just saying "oh, people got mad at the name" ignores that some people were voicing other complaints amidst it.

What I got out of Game Changer is that I didn't know what I was doing, and that I needed to have a plan in mind from the start. I was flying by the seat of my pants, the story didn't have anywhere to go, and I ended up writing an unsatisfying botch job ending. I have a full outline for Good Things, and I'm not going to pull anything crazy with the ending. Hopefully things will go better in the future.
