FA is the one with the largest amount of artists on it and is actually designed to be a gallery. if most really moved over to weasyl instead of bailing on it after two weeks I'd use that, but honestly that'll probably never happen unless FA kicks the bucket, and even then many artists will still post on shitty non-galleries like tumblr since their shit can get shared and reposted on them.
I really wish someone would make an art site that's like weasyl combined with a booru and with the sharing and community elements of tumblr and forums. hell, maybe something like that could be a deviantart killer too assuming its tagging system was good enough to separate furry and non-furry.

The only "good" things about FA is that it still has a sizable number of artists and that the archive scrapes the site (if it decides to work). Almost everything else is a downside. The administration, site security, the fact they are barely adding new features with that beta version they got running. The site is so insecure it gets hacked at least once a year at this point. I think even the original creator jumped ship because of how its being handled. It needs to be put out of its misery.

Tumblr comes in a close second simply because of its awful design. It is not an art site. It never will be. It only allows a max resolution which forces big images to downsize and no one actually uses tags right.

Twitter is somewhat better because at least you can get the full res image. But then you have to be buddy buddy with people to get access to some things if they make their account invite only. And of course most furries are drama-fags so if anything of that leaks, they'll probably either know who did it or just delete everything.

I'd rather people use a booru at this point. Social media is shit and including it in an art site is even worse. All I want is a simple art site with a coherent UI, non-retarded admins or rules, and something secure enough it won't get hacked every other week.

While I'm at it, anyone who use Patreon as a paywall are garbage.
