Dunno about Morrowind, but some guy made a nice WIP dragon race for Oblivion that I was quite fond of since it looked pretty great for what it was, customizable too. Unfortunately it hasn't seen any further work since 2012 and the guy who worked on it is now a Nexus moderator. So now I doubt it's ever going to get finished properly at all.

Never saw any for Skyrim that wasn't a lazily-slapped on head.

Also just updated the pastebin a small bit. Can't believe I forgot about Angels with Scaly Wings which sometimes gets mentioned here, on top of a few tweaks and additions here and there.

Though it got a bit annoying and often end up disabling it, I liked how wraps appeared in place of various clothing, especially around the tail. He's definitely paid good attention to his race's anatomy, but what I'm not big on personally is how he chose a now-completely irrelevant female body type (TFF) for the base of all the female meshes when everyone uses some variant of HGEC instead, which obviously won't add up right and has a different layout for the textures.

Years ago, I noticed one user had taken screenshots of a similar-looking dragon race but with tiddies, and asked him about what he did to achieve the result. He explained that he used this fork of the mod and simply replaced the mod's textures with Argonian ones designed for HGEC/DMRA use. Now I think that this originally caused problems with the wing textures when I tried it, but I suppose some handiwork or further playing around personally might be needed. You can see said screenshots in the user screenshots tab, they're not the best but yeah, you can still see what he was going for.

That one is also practical without placeholder stats, and also has functional flight that drains stamina like a motherfucker, but it also cheeses those fucking Oblivion gates if you can sustain it and not ragdoll to your health when fatigue runs out.

It's been a good while since I last tried it out, so I'm not sure how Drake has laid out his mod in structure but it certainly uses scripts in-game. The Dragorian derivative is mostly a run-of-the-mill custom race take on a dragon race without any extra bullshit, so I guess you just pick your fancy.

Looks like he's still uploading screenshots though, one of them from June this year mentions a bodypart control framework he's supposedly still working on. The rest are just some of Drake's own characters' shenanigans which you may or may not find cringeworthy.

oh man, that game

the guy who made it posted about it on SA while he was developing it, it was the first game he'd ever made and also the first thing he'd ever programmed. eventually, he had some trouble with it and started asking for help, and that's when it became clear just how bizarre the game is, under the hood.

his level design process: draw the entire level on paper, scan it in, then manually measure and hardcode the coordinates of every collision box

the most amazing part was how he coded it though... since he was brand-new to coding and was basically winging it, he didn't really grasp the concept of stuff like classes and methods (it was made in XNA so there wasn't much of an IDE to guide him along). the entire game is a single method inside a single class. the game had HUGE memory issues until someone showed him that he could unload things from memory.

to his credit though, he was really humble about it, and amazingly the game runs well and is pretty fun.
