"Oh, uh, sure." Crystal says before taking a deep breath. She exhales, causing a stream of corrosive bubbles to fill the air between you and the Deathstalkers.

You twirl your weapon around your body, firing it several times before stabbing the ground and letting off a burst of shots. You hardly have to move your fingers as the ice dust rounds form a downpour that tears through the acid bubbles, raining the liquid onto the Deathstalkers who cry out as it tears through their armor. Your shots loop around before piercing the weakened exoskeletons. Ice grows in their shells before shattering, sending bits and pieces of scorpion everywhere.

You made short work of the wall-breakers, but younger Deathstalkers, Taijitus and Creeps are slowly entering the hole in the wall.

You continue to hold your ground, firing your ice into the air and hailing it down on the encroaching Grimm.

Crystal is keeping a constant stream of bubbles going, though she's switched to lightning dust. Each bubble sends a jolt of electricity through the Grimm that along with your ice is slowing their advance.

But even with the two of you, they're making progress and are soon nearly on you. As you prepare to flip your weapon and take them on, a green blur passes by with a pair of blue lines.

It comes to a stop on top of a dying Deathstalker only a few yards in front of you before looking over his shoulder at you.

"Sorry to keep you girls waiting."

"About time, Oliver." Crystal says as she switches the dial on her wand once more, twirling it as she brings it back in front of her mouth.

You stroll over to McSchnees. The girl at the register, a tall brown with blond hair, takes your order of a sausage Schneewich and small coffee. The charge comes to 495 lien. From your wallet, you pull out a 1000 lien note and hand it to the girl. A glance shows that you have another 1000 note and two 500s. She hands you the change and a moment later, your sandwich and coffee are ready.

Sitting down to eat at a nearby table, you dig into the small sandwich. It is a pile of grease, with generic sausage patty, fried egg, and fake cheese, but it satisfies any hunger you had. The coffee tastes bitter and makes you ponder what madman invented the drink.

To take your mind off the coffee, you head towards the locker room. You're not sure what compelled you to come into here. Row upon row of lockers. Some of them are padlocked like in the good ol' bad ol' days. Others have the new fancy SDC electronic locks.

After your trip down memory lane, you finally reach the ticket counter. A touchscreen greets you as you punch in your destination, Gate 15.

Without a moment to spare, the train squeals to a stop in front of you. The doors open and a great multitude of people walk out. When it's clear, you make your way over to the second car. Up on the second level of the train is where you find your seat, on the right side of the train where you can watch the city pass by.

The thing is, this isn't really just quest general.
At least, it wasn't meant to be.

This was where the creative content was supposed to go after it became a bannable offense on /co/. It's just that instead of making content, most people just stopped and left. TQ kept the doors open right away, but the main point of this thread was never quests. It just generated enough of a response that that's what the few writers who didn't just leave decided to do, like me. I could go back to working on my fuckhuge backlog that I haven't touched in a year, but why would I write a story no one cares about anymore when I can write a quest in the universe instead that at least you know someone reads?

Now, I haven't been to /co/ in a while, but last time I was there, it still seemed like content was still taboo, so I'd advocate for keeping this thread what it is, just for the sake of the people that do want to make RWBY content and don't want to deal with getting banned all the time.

I'm not disagreeing, just saying that's why we made these threads. There were a few like Cow who tried to stay on /co/ and kept getting banned, but most just left. The rest, like me, came here. But most of us were too burnt by everything to do anything. I didn't even start my quest until like 4 months in, and I already explained why a quest sounds more appealing than just writing a story here.

Well, that's the fault of the content creators, or lack there of. Maybe if there wasn't such a stigma over /trash/, then more would have stuck around and done other non-CYOA stuff.

Then again, look at the rest of /trash/. This is probably the classiest thread there is. Why in the world would you want to remove the one barrier that's kept this place relatively free from horse shit/non-stop futa/etc? If those are the kinds of people you want to encourage to join to revitalize the place, I'd encourage you to join them instead, because I'm sure you'd end up driving more of the non-those people away.
