>Maira took the way to the showers.
>This session has been intense.
>Looking at the mirrors in the locker room she admired herself a little.
>The training was bearing his fruits: the slightest peak of abdominal muscles under her dotted fur, the slim figure and an ass she could be finally proud of.
>After one last peek she removed her clothes and headed to the shower stall.
>She heard water running: someone else was there.
>The feline swiftly entered the small empty space and left the hot water soak her fur and soothe her aching muscles.
>This was what really she needed, she thought.
>She looked again at her body.
>She was really coming along nicely. Really, really nice.
>Maybe too nice...
>She felt an heat coming from her nethers.
>A finger mindlessly trailed down her pects, heading to her belly and below.
>She stopped.
>Could she really do this? In the shower stall? With someone else near?
>She layed her ear on the thin divisor, trying to pick some sounds from her neighbour.
>>6443610
>The water was still running.
>But there was another, muffled sound.
>Driven by the proverbial curiosity the lynx silently exited her stall, leaving the water running to cover her steps.
>She quickly reached the door of the other stall and peeked inside.
>Her eyes widened at the scene in front of her.
>Another mammal, a doe, was sitting on the tiled floor.
>Letting the water run over her she was furiously stimulating her nether regions.
>Now that she was this close she could hear what the bunny was saying, among all the moaning: 'mmmm....Red...'.
>The heat from before had not dulled the least, it was becoming stronger and stronger.
>Her breathing was becoming ragged, the painful training from before seemed nothing compared to the struggle she was having now to stay still and silent.
>A perfect predator waiting her prey.
>Still, the rabbit was too lost in her pleasure to notice the mammal at the door: 'yes... I need you... I need a big predator like you...'
>The lynx licked her lips, a hint of her pointy teeth gleaming in the poor light.
>She straightened up and opened the door.
>The poor bunny jumped half a metre, scared from the sudden noise and the huge figure that appeared behind the door.
>'Maybe with this last one I can help.'
I want to write a story. Does Comic's writer workshop involve a bunch of writers being thrown into a dark room with him preventing them from leaving until they've churned out an entire body of work? I think I need that sort of discipline
>>6443622
Honestly I have never heard anything about his Workshops except that they exist. I can only guess what the fuck goes on in them.
Can someone illuminate us? How do you gain entry to his program?
>>6443619
And that's all. Goodnight thread.
Tomorrow I will maybe have enough energy to lewd other buns, badgers, weasels, whatever.

He does.
>>6443622

MisterEAnon here. Introducing...
First And Last.
Judy didn't completely give up her social life for her ambition- She's had a casual boyfriend for a while, now.
But tomorrow, she's leaving for police academy. They both know this will probably be the last time they see each other.
A couple try to make their last bittersweet night together special, and try not to think of the morning.

MisterEAnon here, to shill... Two fics?
That aren't his own? Weird!
I was going through my comments on a03 (they're all much appreciated), and found someone who thought I was the author of pack street, rather then a recursive fanfiction writer. (judging from these notes, though, it looks like they found out after their comment.)
So then, they wrote recursive fanfiction of my recursive fanfiction! And I wanted to share what I have apparently inspired with you all.
Summer Heat on Pack Street:
Summary:
Remmy Cormo; unabashed wannabite, semi-pred, meat-eating nocturnal sheep and now unofficially the newest member of an eclectic mostly wolf-pack down on Pack Street. And also currently sleepless in his early morning-in-the-afternoon because those two degenerate perverts across the hall won't quit with the bonking olympics. Something will have to be done. Or, you know, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
http://archiveofourown.org/works/8175185
Pack Street: Laying Down The Law
Summary:
For most mammals in Zootopia, the nightmare of the Nighthowler serum is over. For Remmy Cormo, member of the sheep species, it might just be beginning. For the last year or so, he's been a resident of a formerly pred-only neighbourhood. From awkward beginnings as the butt of many jokes to his current status as mostly accepted member of pred society, Remmy's life has found an odd new stability, an island of calm in a sea of change. And now Bellweather's finally not only arrested, but charged and convicted, with the scope of her nefarious scheme brought to light, being a sheep in a pred-only neighbourhood sounds like even worse of an idea than it had when he'd accidentally done just that. But things aren't so black and white. They never are.

not as much as going the other way in >>6445045
'basic' anthro to zootopia is much harder than the other way around because there's specific styles to go by
turning the pack streeters to roommates style was much easier, just had to normalize their heights, shorten torsos, lengthen legs, and round the heads a bit

I had to learn to go with more animalistic proportions. I usually draw humans and I think even my anthro art reflects this normally. That said learning to draw in the stubbier, small-shoulder Zootopia style will probably help my regular work, whenever I get back to it.

What was the bullshit name... Natural Culture Preservation Act? Something like that?
Does a whole buncha stuff. Wolves can't be arrested for noise ordinances if they were just howling, you can't deny service for a mammal's scent. That sort of thing. There's a whole bunch of specifics for different species.
I'm not sure how to feel about mandatory paid leave for mammals in heat though. I've gone through it plenty of times and you can easily work through it. Maybe that's just me though.

I dunno, dude. My mom was a pretty big believer in "natural washing" when me and my siblings lived there. She would only ever let us lick ourselves or each other clean.
We were tossed out of a lot of places for no good reason.
Don't get me wrong, I think the natural washing stuff is god-awful, I shower now that I'm out of the house, but the fact is there's a pretty large group of mammals who prefer natural wash.

Good, you don't arrest animals for yawning or sneezing or elephants/rhinos because "they make the ground shake which scare smaller mammals".
>You can't deny service for a mammal's scent.
Pressure shit due to Skunk Pride shit, won't matter. "Reserve the right...", etc. Except now you can't say "because of your smell".

And hopefully your mom didn't name you something that screams FOX.
>>6445910
It has a pretty decent following among felines. You'd be surprised. I think the justification is that this is how our ancestors did it, so it's just fine if that's how we do it.
It doesn't, however, account for the fact that our tongues aren't what they used to be as far as cleaning goes. Even my mom still had a comb to deal with matted fur.

This isn't some backwoods village. This is Zootopia. You've got rights.
There should be a poster explaining those rights along with some contact numbers posted at your workplace.
Call out your boss. He can't fire you for it.
>>6446066
being treated different and being treated as lesser is different.
i'm not sneaky, not a thief, i follow the laws like everyone else. you stroll down the street and see mammals squeezing their purses tighter and checking for their wallets. or have guys walk up and ask how much (though to be fair, i understand my "uniform" gives a bad impression, but i need to keep my job. no matter how shit it is). it really wears you down.

How do you even get hired like that? All I've seen doing that were mice/elephant who knew the company didn't have the infrastructure and were afraid of not being hired for it. It became auto-trash after we had 3 or 4 of those (including one who tried to spin it into a discrimination lawsuit) who came for an interview and we had to go through hoops to send them away because our small company couldn't afford an industrial elevator or an small law-adhering office JUST for a mouse to work.
>>6446059
Not every mammal goes on heat, and you could always set up gender specific offices (even if that would be a legal nightmare). I just enjoy being able to tell workers to work remotely without backtalk, I've had enough headaches and legal fisticuffs for an entire lifetime. I've seen bigger companies avoid this by never setting work times or offices only having species that wouldn't affect each other.

>>6446293
That wasn't what I was saying. I was saying that no matter what she does, mammals are going to think less of her for being a fox. One of the big changes this society needs is an attitude change in that regard. We need to recognize that just because foxes are stereotyped as "shifty thief" doesn't mean all, or even most foxes are that. It takes everyone.
>>6446316

The law requires "reasonable accommodations".
Any court in the city can easily determine what's reasonable for a given company.
An industrial elevator would cost thousands, but might be workable for a big company.
A bit of hoof-friendly hardware? A couple hundred at most.
And that assumes that they weren't anywhere near compliant with variable-dexterity regulations.

That's a minor inconvenience, it's the same as buying specific chairs or reorganizing workstations, I'm fine with that. I still won't hire anyone if they don't write down their species, though, even if they are a completely normal sheep or pig. If you're applying I need to know everything about you, and if you're hiding something I'll assume you are one of the species I can't hire and should avoid. I've seen mammals discriminate sloths, foxes, bunnies, skunks and whatnot, but even those I'll give a solid chance with interviews, which I won't even try for someone hiding their species.

Proper bun-bullying (by that I mean none of this lewding nonsense) consists of at least one mild 'put down', generally every 24 hours. It helps build discipline, patience, and focus that bunnies, by nature, generally lack.

I have never been bullied and I have discipline, patience, and focus! I have so much discipline, that I have to share some of it with Rock in the form of punishments! And I have patience: I waited a really long time before I cleaned up my house and filled it with coffee and blew it up! And I also have focus! I focused all that comf energy into my PLOT DEVICE function in my headset, and that blew up Blear!

I rolled bun myself actually, but I felt like a pig was more fitting so I went with that instead.
I for one welcome our new sand cat overlords.
>>6447940
*unsheathes Katana*
Hoho, you again?
>>6447964
*unsheathes buntana*
What a miserable expression! Have more respect for your last moments of life!
*takes secret twelfth level rabbitojutsu stance*

>>6447985
*Holds my blade up in a defensive stance*
So, you think you have what it takes to tango with a master? Tch, and I thought I was arrogant!
*Begins doing hand signals*
Let's see how you like this!!!
>>6447711
I like writing as an artform. Thinking about how pieces are read and how to make them performative is fun.
>>6447711
It gives me an outlet to wrestle with themes and ideas that are important to me in my own life.
It allows me to practice a skill that I value.
It reminds me to stay hungry and never stop improving myself.
At least some people seem to enjoy reading it. It's an amazing social force. I can write something that makes me happy and comfy and strangers will tell me it made them happy and comfy too.
Pure fun! It's a form of play, really.
At any rate, it feels good to plan something out and accomplish it.
Hey guys it's writeyote! Does anyone want a story written? I feel up for writing. So if you want your lovely story idea trashed by my lack of talent, please don't hesitate to request a story.
>>6448013
Grr... I have to stay focused! For the sake of all of those who are counting on me!
Come on then! Let's make this our final battle! Yataiiiii!
>>6448024
Gideon and Judy hanging out.
>>6448024
How about discrimination in the workplace? Or a Zootopian job search.
>>6447996
>Because writing is what I've always been 100% sure I can do
Me too bud, me too. It's all I got, artistically speaking.
>>6448017
I don't know if you feel me on this one, but I "feel" the words. They have colors and texture to me, so I like experimenting with them. It makes me happy.
>>6448023
>It gives me an outlet to wrestle with themes and ideas that are important to me in my own life.
I've written many abloo bloo because of this.
>It allows me to practice a skill that I value.
Shit that ANYONE values. Good, concise writing is a gift. You have no idea how many people shudder at the thought of a well rounded thought.
>It reminds me to stay hungry and never stop improving myself.
This and the social part you mentioned are my biggest driving forces.
>>6448024
Writeyote! It's good to see you man. Dunno if you remember me, butt I remember you.
And don't you DARE trash your own writing, okay?
As far as prompts go: I had one today. Write the story of Judy and Nick trying to get home in a bad snow storm so they can cuddles.
>>6448024
Lewd or non-lewd?
>>6448040
*Lunges forward*
This one is for my father!
HIYAAAAAAAA

>>6448060
I remember nearly everyone I meet here!. But I'm going to need a name or something we talked about. I don't remember basic writing styles.
>>6448069
I don't lewd
>>6448057
You're going to be a bit more specific!
>>6448049
I love a good fantasy, what exactly were you thinking of?
>>6448042
There is but one true fox, his name is Nick Wilde. All others are false.
63 IP.... a last month it was over 100... I think this is finally dying.
>>6448109
whatever you say man.
>>6448110
Man, its the same post every time, and you get the same response every time. At this point, can you put "We're all swamped with work and finals and the holiday" in your post as well?
>>6448110
It's also one of the busiest times of the year for our largely college-aged userbase. I mean, yes, things will die off eventually, but I'd expect a good uptick come December.
>>6448160
Yes cuckbot. Speaking of cuckoldry, how goes the fic?
Moly is the giraffe right?
>>6448109
Maybe the old meet up fight each other with a little witty repartee, building gradual respect till they become too tired or too unwilling to fight anymore and instead have a nice tea party to chat?
>>6448194
I'll see what I can do
>>6448192
>It means a lot to me
FALSE! It means a lot to ME to know you're back.
>>6448209
I never left, I love you guys so much! I've just stopped namefagging.
>>6448190

>>6448207
You are a truly cool duder writefriend.
>>6448235
It's no biggie! Would you like it semi full length or have it tonight? I really like this idea so it might end up pretty big
>>6448227
wanted to be sure.
>>6448264
Take your time, I'm in no hurry. I hope the story works out!
>>6448222
Good to know you never left us man. I DID leave you guys for a month or two, so I'm happy to reconnect with some old faces.
Page 10 already? Damn that felt fast, anyone have a new bread on the way?
Ay before the new thread starts I'll say my nightly goodbye.
Goodnight thread
>>6444026
So according to this almost half of the people don't use the discord (either at all or as a community) as often as the threads.
Thats interesting.
>>6448399
Sleep tight bunner!
>>6448399
Sleep tight!
>>6448400
Of course, if you submitted this poll to the Discord, you'd probably get similar but reversed results.
>>6448446
If the people in the discord don't even notice this post, then are they really part of this community?
>>6448455
No, and that's why people like me say Discord kills the thread.
>>6448060
>I don't know if you feel me on this one, but I "feel" the words. They have colors and texture to me, so I like experimenting with them. It makes me happy.
Do you mean that literally? Because if so you might have synesthesia.
