Maxine grew up in a bunny-centric town, so being called a dumb bunny wasn't common place. The slut thing has oddly NEVER been a problem.
Percy likewise wasn't discriminated against for his species so much as for being a predator, and of course his unusual behavior. He's proven himself to be rather trustworthy, so the stereotype never came up as much as being judged for how he acted, or being a bug-eater.
Hugh however is very descriminated against for his race. The first time he was bullied was just for being a skunk (until kids found other reasons to pick on him). Even at work he's discriminated again, but less aggressively and more in a passive sense. Then there's the 'you're a pred even if you don't think you are' thing.
So I guess Hugh gets the most, and Maxine gets the least. This might have changed if Max grew up in Zootopia proper though.

I think I have, but I still have to actually put it out there to test it.
I'm still in the writing process, and after that the drawing one. Once both are complete I'll post it.
If it falls flat I'll just have to find a new method, or revert to the old one. I wanna avoid that since it took 2 months to finish one comic. I want a method that's quick, but doesn't compromise much of anything. I'm hoping I found it with this.

Yeah, the more I think about the comparison, the less I like it. This is pretty much spot on. The Western is the story of 'how the West was won' from nature, Indians, ruffians, outlaws, drought, chaos, etc., and the triumph of the town, the community, the good folk, the sherrifs, those brave enough to bring supplies and connect everyone, establishing order.

Well, like many places in metropoli, Little Rodentia started as a suburb which got absorbed into the city itself when it increased in size.
Little Rodentia is a bit different, because zoning laws meant their greenbelt was kept -- although it was transformed into a park.
As such, the place has resisted any outside influence, and unlike Happy Town which now has a not insignificant prey population, Little Rodentia is still its own enthoburb.
So just a district of the city, but one which still resembles its own town.

...And that is about all I got. Had that idea stuck in my head for a while, a PI Jack Savage raising a young Nick after his family was killed by the mob. Would flesh out to them becoming a great PI team (no one would really take notice of a bunny or a fox, letting them blend in and hear info) and Nick hunting for revenge for his family-

I really like Action!Jack and John Wilde, I support Nick surviving though tough shit as a child, I support the implication that Nick hustled Mr. Big out of spite for the lack of help as a child, and I support Nick being more comfortable around rabbits due to being raised by one.
