The plugins will have to be rebuilt at least, definitely. Some like USLEP apparently have SE builds ready.

It's likely that a tool will be developed to convert entire installs over to SE in one click or something, but honestly I'd rather wait a good couple of months before making the switch, waiting for maybe updates and especially everything and everyone to move house. How good is dark souls 3?
I played dark souls 1 first, and tanked everything with greatshields and heavy weapons.
I enjoyed demon souls more, however. I liked the atmosphere in certain parts of the game, and the overpowered builds you could do balanced out the lack of poise and bad design.
Dark souls 2 was very meh. It lacked the atmosphere that DeS and DS had. The boring, generic enemies and levels didn't help either.
I'm poor, and my computer is a potato, so I can't play Bloodborne or Stunlock souls 3.
Of course, all this is subjective, so I guess it doesn't matter.

I like to call it "Glass Cannon Souls", everything moves very quickly, and barely anything can take a hit, yourself included. If you like doing huge damage and enjoy high risk high reward, it is probably for you. Tanking however, is nearly impossible. The mitigation from heavy armor is the least noticable in this game out of the three, and it offers no standing poise, only extra bonus hyperframes (poise frames) and/or stronger hyperframes while swinging.

The PvE is very competent, with quite a few unique enemies, and very memorable bosses. The PvP on the other hand... Lets just say imagine estusing at three times normal speed and unpunishable rolls, which are chainable up to 12 times in a single stamina bar

Yeah I sit at about 1500 embered as well, but it just depends on who you fight. Ultimately, if you meet a minmaxed carthus curved sword shitter, it will only take 4-5 hits to drop you. The protection/plate rings also have reduced efficiency in pvp, down to about 1-2% increase. You may want to consider swapping them to sunprincess or something.

I don't mean to shit talk you either, because you speak the truth, spacing is like 90% of the learning curve in Ds3 pvp. Props on the astora too, its a god tier weapon in trained hands.

I'm going to presume that they're shitting out another 3DS title for both a quick buck and giving Japs their fix, considering they likely had their main team working on Stories which may not have worked out so well for them, and as such they're probably trying to get their shit sorted for MH5 or something.

Stories isn't selling all that well from what I gather so they definitely want to put in some...more filler, and thus more time to work on MH5. If it will end up on the Switch or other platform, they'll probably want to get all the under-the-hood stuff all up to snuff and of course work on the next Blademaster weapon that'll be overpowered for one game before being nerfed to 'shit' or 'okay' status if it's lucky. Maybe I'm being too optimistic, it's the same company that killed off Mega Man rather distastefully.
