in this case, twitter really was the best choice

twitter was the easiest to make sure that there was access to the highest quality file thanks to :orig, because tumblr doesn't handle images that large very well and fa loves to compress (but you can usually fix it by just reuploading the image) and i had a queue of stuff i was in the middle of putting up that'd have to uploaded before it

also it's the only site that all the people that image was made for all use!

I always feel its more like they monopolize an artist such that no one else can ever get a commission.

Its great for the artist at first, but everyone else who follows you will slowly leave for people they can actually give money to. When the autism well runs dry the artist going to be left with a lot less had they not spread their business out.

I've personally watched the same guy way overbid an art slave auction several times in a row. To the point where he had to put rules in place to stop the guy from winning every time.

Don't be that guy even if you have the cash to do it, spread your commissions out.
