Obscure furry webcomic character rule 34. Anons on /trash/ posting porn of UberQuest, TwoKinds and Las Lindas has me curious if there are other webcomic characters that anyone thinks deserve some porn to be made of them. Discuss or share the smut if you somehow have it.

Any character by Mastergodai

I started to read his webcomic "Rascalz" because I was bored, and it's like Las Lindas, in the sense that it's a SoL romcom with relationship, except it's less shitty. It's not "good" but it's not "textbook bad like LL
>>
OP here. This time posting about a webcomic called "MAiZ". (lowercase "i" is on purpose).

Fantasy adventure comic with furry characters by CrikeyDave. The skunk girl is cute but I want to see the purple wolf girl with huge arms in more porn.

Eh, to each their own. Honestly, I think Rascals has gotten so bad overtime it's actually worse than Las Lindas, but there are multiple factors I take into consideration to say that.

I do like a lot of the character designs though, I just wish they were drawn by much better artists, cuz a lot of them are too samey in Mastergodai's style.

Considering I just read the first 100 pages...
Well, it was has its best until the ninja rabbit came with all weeb cliches, so I can understand where you're coming from. Might telling more?

Also, just like Chalo, mastergodai is good at drawing pinup pics, but the porn is subpar to average (they can't draw good naked breasts to save their life)
>>
>>5948024
The melodrama gets really cringey. A lot of characters are templates in terms of body types, designs and lacking interesting character personalities that could be more than just visual symbols to spout out lewd and crass dialogue..
Anything interesting brought up in the "story" of characters or the current focus is quickly sidelined and buried by many pages to make a lot of dialogue involving innuendos, unfunny jokes and some unfulfilling cheesecake visuals.

That's some of the issues I have with it. All I can really say without going autistic reviewer blog article on it.
Anyway, I can at least find some of Mastergodai's characters fap worthy, so if you want to share pics, go ahead. Will help to keep the thread alive at least.

Kayoh from the /only/ furry webcomic that is actually great and /finished/ : Pandemonium Wizard village
One of the rare webcomic that also got officially published (in japan and France).
The author was smart enough to make the big breasted fanservice girl a minor character so she wouldn't stole attention from the main narrative.

(Yes I'm shilling it, but really it's way too obscure for its quality)

It has been completely wiper out from the internet, the original site, the reviews were asked to be deleted, the DA account, everything.

She's not even that original in her design, and appeared before the comic stopped updating and yet...

Normally skinny and long necks drive me crazy, but the art style is very simple and cute. I think I've seen this shilled before on lulz but I'll have to check it out for sure.
Shoot, the design is simple enough, maybe I'll draw some smut of her soon (Not guaranteed though).

Seeing content get nuked saddens me, because even if the content isn't all that great, I like to find comics whenever I can. I can definitely sympathize...maybe I'm just not that picky but she looks pretty damn cute and worthy of a porn pic.

Next is Katbox's webcomic author and illustrator Ron "Nekonny" Rodrigues. Creator of webcomics about cats, girls, girls that are also cats and so on. Tina Online, Caribbean Blue and Paprika.

Character is Tina, who is the only girl in the cast that is actually furry. Tiger girl, red hair, silly and pretty attractive. The only smut of her available I have seen so far were pictures I requested on U-18 chan during the Chalo edit thread days.

She does have a snout, but Nekonny seems to prefer "suggesting" a snout more so than actually drawing it usually.
>>
To redact on a mistake when I started the thread (a tiny bit too late maybe): The subject of the thread isn't "Obscure furry webcomic characters" and porn. But "obscure porn" of furry webcomic characters.
There are a lot of characters in mainstream webcomics that don't have much porn of them made either, so for the sake of thread activity it's not a bad idea to bring up characters from Twokinds, Las Lindas, etc.
Though I have just been sharing of what I know and have in small bits and pieces. Anyways, have fun and keep it smutty anons.

I can sympathize with that feeling for some characters and the artists that own them.
Sometimes the original owner just can't do the design justice or someone manages to do one in a much more appealing way.

Not sure if it would appeal to /trash/ but since it'd be hypocritical of me to hold back porn considering I started the thread, I'll share this Tina commission I got a long while ago.

I'm a bit sad.
This comic has been running since 2010 and it's the first time I heard of it. I dunno if it's good or not, but I can't believe it's been 6 year and it still in obscurity. It's either poor advertising or it sucks, or it lacks waifu/sexual unnuendos

Anyway, I love the Cheetah girl, Kelly. Nothing too original in her design, but she hits a soft spot.

^This. Las Lindas has its set of issues, but at least the characters have slightly more diverse personalities, motives and body-types.

To me Las Lindas is frustrating because it has moments were it an almost be an OK comic, but then it takes a nose-dive into crap again. Its like some weird cycle that it never seems to get out of. Also Mora is a very annoying mary-sue.

Godai just seems to want to throw whatever is funny that week, or popular or whatever sex-joke that isn't funny into the comic. It seems to not have much direction beyond shipping, dumb jokes and fanservice. Honestly it feels very very immature.

Good Katbox comics I'd recommend..

Caribbean Blue (or anything by 'Nekonny, Imew,Paprika,Practice Makes Perfect) which does the jokes much better. Avencri's comics, The Eye of Ramalach and Tina of the South have some interesting stories and development. Draconia Chronicles has some OK drama here or there if you can get past the artstyle/text.
DMFA is also really good and UberQuest. Those are the best comics on there atm, Anaria looks like it has promise. Anthronauts isn't too bad either.

Well until a couple of months ago the webcomic Latchkey Kingdom(and its predecessor 70-Seas) had zero porn but after a couple of commissions to the author and the dedication of an fan artist called Akunim we now have some.

Gonna start with dumping some of the lewd stuff the author was commissioned, featuring some minor characters on the cover of a fictional porn magazine

Though I swear it seems like Katbox comics that are actually good wind up in constant hiatuses or in Anthronauts' case, stop, get rebooted and start over (into a comic I found pretty dull and overall not as goof to me) and then be put on indefinite hiatus.

Next up from me is Katbox's Anthronauts porn of Mandy Cheng the ship captain and sum of the morally questionable scientist Caroline.

It's kind of cheating to include these since these pictures are publicly shown on the webcomic creator's FA page and were made by her.

Really, the only obscurity with rule 34 and Anthronauts is that there's little to no porn that's vanilla themed.
(Seriously, try to find porn that isn't about the cute panda & lynx girl getting ravaged by alien creatures.)

Good Cheese is an old favorite of mine. Good art, cute & precious characters and it doesn't wear out its welcome, though the premise is highschool students and an upcoming dance so short and quick may be preferred.

Honestly, I'm not that into the idea of it ever getting rule 34'd. Character&Webcomic purity and all that junk. But I'd have to see explicit Good Cheese smut at least once in my lifetime.

TwoKinds has been a high popularity rated webcomic on many comic rank sites years before Youtube even had the Partner system, let alone Markiplier even ever becoming relevant.

It's just that the art is so bad that it makes my eyes bleed. It's also tiny, designed for the screens of the 90's. And it's got that peculiar type of "serious sci-fi mixed with shitty comedy" that too many old sci-fi webcomics used.

In theory, it should be a good comic. In practice, it's hobbled by those issues.

The new cartoony style was less fappable but, if one really decide to look past his lust, it was good. Could be better on the color, but good.

What I don't like however is, that new style he has new that is probably gonna be the style of the reboot.
Basically a mix of the two, but Swirly looks more like a human with a weird nose than anything.
Maybe it's just me though, the only artist who (in my opinion) successfully pulled out lips on furries was amakuchi, but only because he choose to put canine's lips instead of human's ones (I wonder why western artists never think of that btw)

OP: I definitely didn't read Roomies for its story, and was more excited to see the art because I was a fan of Andrew Dickman's content for many years, though I did kind of get attached to the comic in the beginning.

After it went on a hiatus, it came back with the more cartoony style( this was after the B&W one) and I hated it. I still do, and hate how the characters look and that Andrew's colors felt pretty lazy and mediocre looking.

Then again, Dickman's style flip-flops and is super inconsistent if he so much as takes a break from drawing certain characters. (Going to happen since Roomies is on ANOTHER hiatus) Compare Swirly in the latest comic pages to the related to my post.

TL;DR: Cute fappable girls that I adore, loved the the Black and White art and hated how the comic looked after it came back from hiatus

(Long comment is long. I also uploaded and responded to your comments about Pumpkin Spice)
>>
>>6004246

Tried to fix a typo a noticed too late but guess I'll have to live with your reply being before that other reply I made.

I'm usually not that picky when it comes to art styles, but the comic's latest style before it went on hiatus months ago mainly irked me due to specific quirks I hated as well as looking to be simplistic.
One of my favorite things about looking at webcomics over time is the gradual progress in the art. Whether it gets "better" is debatable but the simpler proportions with huge cartoony eyes that took up more of the head than usual were not what I would call progress.
It just came off as lazy, especially with someone sharing with me that he said it was less time-consuming to draw during a stream of is. (Not concrete but it only made me feel more justified in my opinion further)
Also...long and thin necks...I cannot stand to see long and thin necks on characters that are not Looney Tunes characters...anyway.
>>
>>6004441
Yeah, It's one of my favorite thing in webcomics too, especially if you picks up a webcomic that have been running for years. It feels like a trip.

As for Dickman, well... maybe he peaked artistically and now he's on the downfall.
Every artists suffer from that. They strive to be the best they can, find a suitable style... Then they either experiment or don't notice the very style they achieved is killing their artistic hability from the inside becaus they don't want to step out of their comfort zone (Chalo for ex, he was as his best circa 2010-2012... )
>>
>>6004246

Also, I certainly agree on Amakuchi making some mighty fine nice lips.
Shame he is so inconsistent with them. As well as with whiskers.
And making the Foxy Rena series about Foxy Rena and introducing more and more ladies every volume. (Not bitter, luv Amakuchi but come on man!)

AWD does also work as a storyboard artist for cartoons sometimes, which in that field I imagine you have to be adaptive style-wise and it could probably leak into your personal work. And considering the last storyboards I know he worked on were Teen Titans Go...

Anyways, I said my dues about the art. Feel kind of bad bumping the thread with my complaints but hopefully more sexy characters will fill the board. Or it could die. Either or.

Many artists google their name online you know (Joseco, Preston, etc.) I wouldn't be surprised if Dickman did that as well.

Can't say if forcing yourself would help. People artistic wise usually can't or won't be productive in the one thing they want or feel they need.
I would know from all the times I think "I should draw." and I never wind up making anything as I stare down my paper or my computer screen.
If it's comic you're mostly making for yourself anyways, you could always take a break or try to be productive in something else. (Exercise, tidying up your household, etc.)
It's really the only advice I can give based on my experiences so far. But of course everyone's built and reacts differently.

In the medium of digital art, it's a lot easier to get away with tracing thanks to transform tools. Plus, the guy's style goes from Tom Fischbach, to Chalo, Mastergodai and etc. in multiple pictures not that far apart from each other which just makes it seem more obvious they trace.

I stopped reading years ago. I like the art, and I love the attention to detail. Butler doesn't just do what feels good, but she actually does research. The places and things she draws are real. Normally you don't even see that from professional American comic artists, let alone amateurs. It's on par with professional European artists.

But the plot and characters completely lost me. It's not just the glacial pace, but that I'm completely uninterested in these people's exploits. But thanks to the glacial pace there's also zero character development. And the characters that are there are just... off. They're a little too large for life, as far as I'm concerned. I can't really take the drama seriously when all characters seem like charicatures.

Tracy Butler needs a writer, or at the very least an editor.
>>
>>6019743
>will advertising and promoting it and forcing a schedule help?

Yes, yes, and yes. You already knew this, of course.

Don't splurge on advertising, though. Money is money. But shilling for you own comic will help, or getting others to shill for you. A schedule is the most important thing, because it allows your reader to develop a habit and loyalty. Nobody's going to read a comic if they don't know it's there. That counts for the entire comic, and the individual updates. If they know it's there on friday, they will read it on friday.

>>
>>6044036
If that's a finished panel, I would strongly advise to add at least a simple background, unless that plain background is actually the point. You have a strong grasp of expressions, so I'd definitely hope you're making a character-driven comic.

In my experience the most common mistake in webcomics is to not be succint enough. Webcomics typically drag on with simple scenes for weeks on end. So I'd advise you to go over your script, and see if you can tighten it down a little. Maybe you don't need to do so, but you probably do. Just look at how many pages you're set on producing per month or even year, and then look at how much time you're willing to allocate to any given plot.
>>

>>
>>6032590
>Too bad it mostly seems to be blatantly traced from artists more popular than him.
Shit, is there a comparison chart to see all the traced works?
>>
>>6044425
You nailed it. It is a very character driven comic, but the part that got away from me was the story and how it unraveled, it was supposed to be 10 pages long, but it grew to 18, featuring a long action sequence and more exposition than I expected to insert, I will probaly re-do this in the future with a much tighter and convincing story, but I still think it was worth it to see if I could do action-adventure stuff.

And don't worry about pacing, the more information I can get through within a few simple lines/body language the better.
>>
>>6044585

There's not really any chart, and there's not many comparison pics either. The one I posted I made myself really quick to get my point across,
but I suppose with the creator's low amount of content I could make a couple more examples.

It would have to be later though, as a friend of mine has experience with digital tracing for small projects in the past
as well as having a keener eye for figuring out what is traced and where it was traced from (that and I'm about to go to sleep momentarily).

>Draconia Chronicles

I think my problem with Draconia Chronicles is that it's such a shit world in the sense that 99% of the time something horrible happens and at least one or two people die.

Character death is fine when done right, but when it starts being done just for the sake of it then it hurts the comic. Readers start going "Why should I care about this character when they'll probably just be killed off soon?"

>>6044707
Yeah, that's the stumbling block for a lot of comics. Nearly doubling page count doesn't seem bad for a short narrative, but for a long form webcomic it's killing. It's also closely related to the format: Your readers tune in every week, or a few times per week, and expect to be entertained at that moment. This leaves webcomics without a lot of leeway for "boring" pages. And at the same time it's easy to give yourself a few more pages to work with, because you're not working within a page limit due to the nature of the internet.

This makes webcomic writing uniquely challenging. I think it pays off to think about your webcomic as if it were a print comic, in order to force that restraint. And it's also easier if you ever want to print it. It will also keep "boring" pages to a minimum, ensuring repeat readers.
>>
>>6046088
Exactly, I inhenrently imposed over it a ''22-26'' page limit just like if it were a printed comic, both as a ''just in case'' and to give future readers a rhythm for the story.

But the toughest challenge for me isn't the writing, it's keeping people interested, and the common theme I've ran into is making people wonder if the characters are gonna have sex, even though there isn't going to be any sex in my comic I do intend to include a lot of innuendo, my concern is if people will grow tired of the comic because if the innuendo baits them in, the story will not hold them for long.

The tone and the pace of the comic is pretty stupid, the humor is "look I referenced a mainstream comic" and it only look professionnal on the surface really, it's been like 20+ issues and I have yet to see a decent continuity.

I know it's unfair to compare Alan moore to webcomics artists, but Watchen was "only" 400~ pages, 13 issues and V for Vendetta even less.
There is a severe lack of plannification, exceptions like this >>5948771

>The tone and the pace of the comic is pretty stupid
Keep in mind that it's still have the parody at its core which is why the whole serious chapters fail and don't fit into it and still use lesbian cheesecake for the fake drama and development.

My problem with Spinnerette is it gained a following with it's existing characters and Krow seems determined to use that attention to sell his boring as 'White Heron' thing.

His patreon has been months of "hey check out this statue and these character designs" and people are just "Can we have the actual Spinnerette cast please?"

That's the problem when you take too fucking long to finish a comic or a story, you eventually gets bored of it. Usually people just change the tone of the comic (that's why most silly comics become super edgy with time) or they do this

Exactly. But I believe most people just want porns of the characters rather than to see them development. Don't forget Super MILF exist.

>>6048476
I don't think the story is long except the Glass and the Alternate Spinnerettes chapters. It's the fact the execution and writing is bad. Spinnerette is his fifth comic, the reason it succeeded was because of the cheesecake when Chochi was around.
Some people only like Minerva is because she's a furry Cerberus with different fetishes.

That's what you get when you put fetish characters into a serious comic (see:Uberquest).

Minerva

I don't believe in the old bait and switch. What keeps people reading is wondering what's going to happen next. If there's never a payoff, people will stop reading. There needs to be a narrative the characters are part of, that they influence and are influenced by.
>>
>>6078534
Indeed, I've seen too much webcomics with stories that seemingly don't go much further the more I'm in, there's also the problem that the writing is usually just short one-liners with dreadful amounts of exposition inbetween, people try to excuse this as ''having your characters sound more natural'', you know, like 2 human beings speaking to each other? But I'm never convinced because they just end up sounding like dicks.

>>6078603
I think webcomics as a format tend to come with a weird sort of baggage that makes it harder for the amateur authors to succeed. For instance, the idea of having an "indefinite" comic. A story that never ends, with the comic ending up being about the random ass shit the characters get up to while pretending to drive the narrative forward. Webcomic can also be a little tone-deaf, trying to be cute and serious at the same time.

A proper webcomic needs story beats. My favorite webcomics have me coming back because I'm excited about what's going to happen in the next few strips. If that's the same as what's happening now, I won't care. For instance, a cool-looking comic I read a few years ago took 99 fucking pages to introduce the crew, main character, and have the cast escape some thugs. Then the comic died, because the creators burned out.

>the premise is highschool students and an upcoming dance

This sort of stuff is so quintessentially American. The only other country that obsesses so damn much about the school lives of teens is Japan, and that's 99% sure because America drilled it into them.

I can't enjoy anything set in high school. It just feels awkward. We in the rest of the world are generally glad to be free of the damn place. Why would we continue basing our fantasy lives on it once we're done?
>>

Sup ca?

>We in the rest of the world are generally glad to be free of the damn place. Why would we continue basing our fantasy lives on it once we're done?

High school is that middle point where characters are old enough to do a lot of things but you don't have to really worry about them getting jobs and paying bills. Plus it gives a reason for cast members to always be near each other at various points It's a sweet spot for many as far as setting goes.

On top of that, many have fond memories of high school and would like to revisit them in some form.

Japan cares about high school so much because it's basically the last chance for them to really have any sort of fun before most of them hit the workforce. America didn't drill that into them, it was them all on their own.

Unfortunately, by the time I found out about the webcomic, it had switch hosting sites a few times.
So I am unfamiliar with the bonus comic you mentioned.

>>6106907
In addition to what >>6107296 says, there's also the fact that highschool teens are a middle ground for a younger and older audience.
Younger kids have something to easily aspire to and look up to with highschool characters while older viewers can relate to it because
of how naive' a lot of us still were when we were teens. Even if it was something involving our identities or just the stuff we cared about during that age.
>>
>>6107355

As for lewds, I can see where you come from. Then again, Good Cheese isn't an overly sexualized webcomic like a lot of others.
Other furry webcomics tend to have a background artists drawing porn or pinups and sometimes bring their tendencies into the comics (or make it a focus).
Kelly Hamilton was already done with University by the time they started Good Cheese so they probably wanted to keep an air of professionalism to their online work.

Or it's just a feel good slice of life comic about highschool kids with an air of innocence to it that no one just ever felt the urge to make Rule 34 of it. Except probably Rocko Gorilla on FA.
I bet that guy has made and commissioned a lot of NSFW involving Nina that will never be posted ever.
>>
>>6108144
I think you're overthinking it a tad. Besides, I didn't mean Hamilton should have lewded her characters, I was just hoping to see someone r34 the dormouse... y'know, context being the fact that we're in the "r34 of obscure webcomic characters" thread...

I get weird in the morning. Or maybe I'm just weird. Either way, that's not what I meant to imply but apoligize if it seemed like I did.

I just meant to say that content like that is probably obscure either because anyone who would make it probably has a lot of respect for the creator's content and never posts it.

That and aside from cute looking characters the comic doesn't invite many naughty readers. Who would make smut of the characters (though I am probably underestimating the internet).
>>

>>
>>5946862

>>
>>6107296
>>6108103
You would expect those arguments to be universal, but they aren't. An American media seem to over-adult high schoolers, inserting them into serious drama, and generally insinuating they all act like adults. It's kind of weird.

As for Japan, that cultural perspective is still pretty close to what Americans seem to think about high school. The idea that "it's the best time of your life" is prevalent. And, as one American put it, "I can't do anything without asking my parents, I don't have a car, I don't have money, and THIS is the best time of my life?"

In Europe, high school themed stuff is considered 100% kids' stuff. There are no serious productions of any sort that centre around high school, but are intended for adults. In fact, American high school movies often seem completely identical to college movies.

OP: Realistically, yes: Highschool is nowhere near as great of a part of one's lifetime as most people make it out to be, (unless they were super popular, had cool parents, etc.) whether in media or people recalling their "good old years."

But people get nostalgic, and compared to the issues you run into in adult life, highschool issues seem tame and silly in comparison to the hardships of becoming another cog in society. (Assuming you weren't unrelentingly bullied or assaulted in youth.)

Of course, I can only speak as an American currently in my mid twenties who grew up on cartoons and the occasional live action show where highschool wasn't the main focus
but starred characters that were highschoolers that had their school lives be minor obstacles to the actual problems at hand.

Good Cheese is still a good read though. (If anyone cares about the comic anymore at this point). It's cute, has nice art and a decent amount of focus. It's one major flaw being that it was too short...
and yet it still has over 150 pages and took many years to complete (It was completely redone and went on hiatus in between 2004-2006. It ended in 2008).

Obviously he's wrong. There is never enough porn.

Never.

There was an idea with Alpha for the next After Hours comic but Fel/Bonnie won in the end.

I've been thinking on an idea with her too. Mostly inspired from playing The Long Dark. Alpha and the bear hybrid, Honey fighting over a human they find in the frozen wastes. Trying to seduce him, stealing him, etc. (Of course the ending is that Alpha was only reading the script for the comic and loudly objects to taking part.)

Here's concept work from the Brotherly Love side comic, here you have Jerome's mother Linda, his brother Tavian, and Sasha. Apparently this side comic was completed and uploaded to wirepop, where it is now? Who knows...

Kind of weird that people would call that "too short". Seems like a decent number of pages for a webcomic, and it looks like it had about one update per week, judging from the runtime. There are webcomics out there with better schedules, but they either have small pages or the authors are pretty much professionals.

Honestly, I think a big problem with webcomics is that authors are afraid to end their comics. The older I get, the more I become interest in something with a finite narrative. Something that ties it all up at the end, where I can say "that was a good story, that really made me think about stuff".

Then again, I don't really read these big-ass, sprawling novel series that are popular these days, either. They thought Lord of the Rings was too long when Tolkien brought it to a publisher, so they split it up. LotR today would be one entry in a series.

OP: I fully agree with you. Sometimes it's just nice to have a story that doesn't feel like it's dragging its feet.
Plus, since Good Cheese is already finished, one doesn't have to suffer the weekly update issues and it taking about 2 years real time to read it from beginning to end.

I suppose my one detraction from the comic about it being too short is that admittedly, I always wanted to see more of the character in some way or fashion.
Kind of like how The Lord of the Rings was a sequel and continuation of The Hobbit.
Though I suppose it's better that I want more and not get it than to get a lot more and
complain about the comic dragging its feet or trying to desperately stay relevant (A slice of life story can really only entertain someone for so long).
