This would depend A LOT on the dynamics of the 'disease.' But I can make some general assumptions.
First, since it appears on normally not 'savage' animals it means it would be treated like a disease more than an already preexisting genetic condition.
Also we have now that the majority of the population is infected, so it will be regarded more as a pandemic.
There will probably be some extremist prey groups accusing the preds to have infected them because they want 'more like them.' Other extremists will see the preds as a cure in the sense that maybe eating part of them will give them miraculous immunity.
The herd social structures that we've seen in the film will slowly begin to crumble, everyone worried that the neighbour can be the next savage.
It depends also on the species most infected. A savage mouse is much, much less problematic than a savage rhino/elephant.
Bogo will probably resign after a while, Lionheart will stay in power but there will be conspiracies that maybe it was his plan to remain mayor.

not a single hint pointing toward this ending, it just comes as a pretty huge mood whip slash.

if you want people to swallow a bitter pill you are supossed to coat it in honey not fucking shove it in the throat after you eat the honey and downed it with water.

really adding subtle hintings along the way would have been all it's needed, as it stands the ending just seems edge for the sake of it.

I just feel like it's a good way to study how characters would react in different situations. It helps one develop them better.

I actually develop the characters a lot better when people ask me questions or give me suggestions for 'What if ____ did _____?'. It's part of my 'writing' process, if you could call it that. Point is, I'm very appreciative of the help I get.
