You walk down and down the spiraling pathway. You wonder what could be down here, making this noise.

You don’t have to wait long as the two hunters slowly pass by the tree, only giving it a slight glance before walking away.

They mutter at each other, but it’s too low for you to hear.

You wait for a few more minutes before unhooking yourself from the branch.

Your third head pops up, and once again its ‘radar’ comes out scanning the area.

The two hunters..

They did not go into the forest, in fact they are staying right at the entrance, watching for any signs of danger.

The hunter with the large stocky blade keeps looking back from the forests edge to the boulder where ruby currently is.

Up ahead, ruby climbs up top the boulder, her body shakes and her eyes are filled with worry and fear, but they scan the area for any danger.

You look once again at the area.

The grass is tall enough for you to hide completely, but the wind is still, so any movement would be noticeable.

On your left about some distance away is a smaller boulder.

On your right closer to you than the boulder is a young tree JUST big enough to hide you.

Further ahead more trees and rocks sparsely line the area.

A sudden howl breaks from the forest.

The two hunters look to each other and sprint into the forest, weapons out.

Ruby is standing on the boulder now, her eyes fixed straight on the forest.
