I had a RWBY related dream last night.
I dreamed that Ruby was attacked and kidnapped by villains. They proceeded to beat, insult and rape her terribly, while she cries desperately for help that wont come. After hours of it, they abandon her in a dark alley wrapped only in her soiled cape, eyes deadened to the world and practically broken in body and spirit.
I woke up with the hardest boner ever, with the foul taste of bile and shame in my gut and throat. I hate myself more than ever now and cant get the idea out of my head so I'm constantly tormented by it.

I mean, I'm Canadian and I only took the compulsory history class in high school( drifted more towards ancient history after) but, you're pretty on point. It was along ass time of the people and the government deciding which culture they should follow (the British Anglophone ways or the French Francophones). After almost 70+ years of it being an issue that most Prime Minister's had, it got real bad when some crazed Separatists kidnapped and murdered two Canadian senators. Quebec also refusing to sign agreements because they felt like they were being given the short end of the stick( they were in some cases, but it was usually more feelings of entitlement than anything.), but they eventually agreed that it was both cultures that Canadians had accepted. There's obviously more to it than that (conscription in the Wars being a big issue as well) and I'm not remembering a whole lot.
