Have David go around in full-stealth. He can strike Ruby in the leg, hopefully breaking it before retreating. She'll scream out, cause at least Qrow to turn back. If they both do, then Jefe hits them both from behind with his Shadow because that'll easily give them at least enough negative feeling for a +1 Schaden. If only Qrow goes, then Jefe takes Winter on 1v1 and David vs Qrow. It'll be a hard as fuck battle, but it's not impossible.

Davids mental powers are used for figuring out emotions, scouting, and influencing people.

Influencing someone in battle, can change their attack to defense, to back off for a turn or even do nothing.

This only works on those with weak wills, like other grimm, white fang grunts, and extremely damaged hunters.

Over time he might be able to completely take over minds, (though this does not apply to boss battles, since that would be too easy.)
