From experience, used to work in the fast food industry for 3 years which was basically slavery. Since i had to save time i could hold it for hours and so did everyone else, though i think that had more to do with increased capacity and not strength.
Doing it reverse to become weaker i have no clue nor will. I am not even into actually using diapers for intended purposes.

I think it can shrink, or at the very least, the muscles weaken considerably. Got around to trying UnderJams for the first time because they're on sale.

Even at 10$ for 11 in a pack it's kinda pricey, but the absorbency is absolutely shocking. It's not like goodnites that take half a wetting and that's it, these things are on par with cheapo adult diapers for how much they hold. It's also a double-layer thing, too, fluffy cotton/wood pulp on top to wick, then all gel all the time below it

Someone should make proper adult abdl style pullups like these. I'd even settle for just pullups that don't suck. Why are diapers for children so much better than ones for adults? I've only ever tried the Bellisimo (the one with the blue landing zone with bunnies and shit) and as far as I understand, it's their most absorbent model. They're pricey, but I love them. The absorbency is off the charts, they have elastics in the front and back so they fit super nicely, and the landing zone makes it easy to re-adjust the tapes.

I would say no. At least in my head, there's some kind of weird distinction (as I can go for pretty much any fetish.)

Watersports is degrading and more "dirty" than wetting, whereas wetting is only mildly uncomfortable (can kind of be nice/warm in practice) and conventionally humiliating. (As one's more likely to get art of someone wetting in a public place to humiliating effect than public watersports.)

Messing has additional discomfort compared to scat, since the shit is kept in contact with you. It's obviously highly idealized. I'd similarly say that most of the time it's humiliating instead of degrading.

Also a wet/messy diaper is heavier and more rigid which kind of feels nice. Well, I don't know in the case of messing irl (which i've not tried as i know cleanup would be a nightmare thanks to hair, but the time i attempted shaving all my lower-hair off for other reasons just ended with uncomfortable itches that lasted months.), but definitely for wetting.

You should buy one of those cloth ones that you can add your own stuffing to. I got one of them and usually fold a towel to put inside to make it thick, since i only want them for comfort and don't want to use them.
Try snap-ez. Delivery takes a long time but it's worth it in the long run. If you wear them every night for sleep and never "use" it you can just wash it with your regular clothes.
