>>5855049
Yeah, I'm AC.
ArchiveAnon did really good work with his in-line quotes. I'm kind of incorporating inline quoting into my own caps, but usually they're for prompt posts, which precede the actual greentext. I also tack on additional graphics to caps, since that's pretty time consuming too.
I'm not very good at capping community efforts or call and response content like the BunAnon Saga, I would have been tearing my hair out if I tried to cap the Bunanon Saga.
As for talking, I don't know. Maybe another time. It's late.

Capping isn't outright difficult, but it takes some measure of effort and acclimatization.

>Nick and Judy were waiting outside of Jack’s apartment
>They had been inside their cruiser for thirty minutes, and if they waited any longer for the soft-spoken rabbit they were going to be late for work
>”What the fluff?! What is taking that buck so long?” scowled Judy, her paws tightening around the steering wheel
>Nick checked his phone, “He hasn’t replied to any texts…I am going to go up and see what’s going on.”
>His bunny partner huffed, leaning back into her too-large-for-her seat, “Well hurry up, I’ve never been late to work. I don’t intend to start now.”
>The fox chuckled and stepped out of the vehicle, “Oh the horror, perfect honor student Toot-Toot late for once in her life.”
>Nick closed the car door behind him before he could hear any of Judy’s complaints and made his way up into the apartments
>As he neared Jack’s door Nick realized he had never been in the FBI agent’s home, the rabbit always redirecting the conversation somewhere else when the subject was brought up
>This was his chance to see inside the place of a, as he jokingly referred to Savage, “secret spy”
>Nick knocked on Jack’s door, first halfheartedly then insistently when he got no response
>”Jack! What’s the deal? Carrots and I have been waiting for your cottontail!”
>The fox frowned when he heard a soft groan from the inside, grabbing the doorknob and was surprised to find it unlocked

>>5855384
>”Have you been asleep this entire time? What did you do la-“
>The scent of the apartment stopped Nick’s rant in its tracks as he opened the door, the smell of female bunny assaulting his senses for a moment
>Nick had to shake his head to clear the fog the tantalizing aroma created, and would have made some smart yet proud comment on Jack’s obvious conquest if he hadn’t seen there was only one figure in the rabbit’s bed
>A rabbit that shot up and looked straight at Nick in horror with bright blue eyes as the fox got a clear view of the doe
>His eyes trailed over the black stripes all over her body, the tight top and panties, the lean feminine figure, and the scars scattered across their form
>Overall, it looked like he was staring at a female version of Jack Savage
>A version of Jack that Nick, to add to his confusion, found very attractive
>The two mammals stared at each other for what felt like minutes before Nick backed up, “W-well, hurry up buddy. We are running late…I’ll just wait outside…”
>The female Jack only nodded mutely as Nick shut the door, making his way down slowly to the cruiser with the motions of a robot
>”Well? Where is Jack?” Judy questioned as Nick stepped into his seat, “We only have a few minu- Nick, what’s wrong? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
>Nick gave his partner a weak smile, “Wrong? Nothing’s wrong, I just caught Jack at a bad time. He should be down any minute.”

Goddammit, sorry for being late, I was the first anon that asked to talk but I was called for work.
I've been where you are. I can say that I had been there for years.
I was in your same situation, every day always the same, always going on and on.
Incidentally the film and these threads are what helped me broke from this.
I found myself asking: what do I want to do? The answer was for me that I want to get better. I want to be someone proud of myself.
I began going to the gym. I began creating content, first edits, then drawings, then greentexts, then typesets, then fic. I began interacting more with the thread and the posters here. I began taking every occasion that I've seen, no matter how small. Someone ask to go
around, to participate in something? I say yes (obviously if I'm free).
I now find myself continuously transforming, and I don't get to have the time to be bored anymore.
Completely satisfied of my life? No. Much better than before? Yes.
So, before saying and doing anything that you can't repair to I ask you to try, again. I know it is not easy. Find some course on something, a new sport, learning a new language, try to create something. At first it will be shit, I know by experience, but you need to grit your teeth. It will bring joy in a dull life. Listen to who has been there before, please.
>>5855143

Don't be sorry, you didn't make anything uncomfortable. As for the community growing, we seem to be more of a community that wants to see others grow, whether it be in the community itself or of its members (including yourself) getting up and getting going in their own lives.
Don't hurt yourself, anon. For any reason. Life may be rough now, and it can be for any period of time, but there's literally nothing that can stop it from being good.
>>5855252
Didnt it turn out that Nick was cheating all along and Judy kept going with it to punish him?
>>5855564
>>5855561 here, with this new information I think my situation is more similar to yours than I thought.
I've also reached the 30s in BMI, but I luckily stopped myself from becoming fatter.
You know, I found much of my problems were correlated with lifestyle and (near for me) obesity, and I think it is also your case.
Like I said you need a change, but I think now I can be more specific.
First thing first, I suggest a doctor. I know it can be the suggestion everyone does but it is the right one in this case.
I found by personal experience than having extra weight sap easily the energy from a person and help the forming of depression. I'm not saying this as some preachy bullshit, it's pure biology. The heart has to work extra hard and it depletes the energy reserves of the body. The presence of so much extra fat suppress the reception of dopamine and increase the risk of depression.
I lost more than 12 kg and I feel completely anew.
So I suggest this, as someone who had been on this path before, see a doctor, ask for a diet, follow it religiously for a big period of time (more than a month) and then compare. As you said you have nothing to lose, why not try?
I know that it can be hard and I wish I was able to do more than helping through a screen and a keyboard. And don't think you're a bother, we are here also to help. Love ya.

you got a point here, frozen 2 might be good, it's unneccesary, but surely will be better than "LetItGo" meme movie. They even sent the crew to study sumi culture or something, that means they want to put actual effort into it.

>Judy eyed the fox warily, “If you say so…Oh look, there he is! Jack, get your fluffy tail in here!”
>Nick tensed up as his door opened and Jack sat beside him in the giant seat meant for much larger animals
>”I apologize for the wait, I overslept and I forgot to charge my phone last night.” Jack reached up and buckled himself –herself? Nick questioned- and the fox in.
>Judy shook her head as she started up the cruiser, “Were you naked as well? Nick came down white as snow.”
>Nick felt Savage sigh next to him, “Something like that.”
>Viewing the rabbit from the corner of his eye Nick took in the suit Jack always wore, the clothing just loose enough to hide any figure the bunny had
>Jack may have been a pretty boy and had a soft voice, but there was nothing concrete to suggest he was actually a she
>Even the smell of doe no longer came from Savage, instead in its place of was the blank odor of scent blocker
>There was no evidence… only the memory of a half-naked bunny that was burned in Nick’s mind
>He turned away as Jack stared at him, feeling those blue eyes locked onto him

>>5856058
>Remmy got off too easy.
That explains Betty's disappointed look.
What is your opinion of this bun?
I had a weird dream last night where Nick,Judy, and Jack were stuck on a runaway train carrying an aerosolized version of the nighthowler serum. They couldn't reach the controls as the lead car and engine were on fire and they knew the train would likely be diverted to crash in the lake surrounding zootopia instead of the city inorder to save lives at the cost of their own. At some point Nick gets it in his head to sacrifice himself inorder to save Jack and Judy, he tries to trick Jack to go back and help Judy with something and waits for him to leave before reaching to open the door to the lead car only to get knocked out by Savage. Savage said something along the lines that he can't let Nick go threw with it and condemn Judy to a life as empty as his has been since he lost Skye. He goes threw the door instead braving the flames and unpinning the car so they'd disconnect, waits for the engine and lead car to gain some distance from the other cars then shoots the rail switch so that Nick and Judys end of the train would continue along the main while his would go off to crash into the lake. Nick wakes up just as Judy realizes what is happening and they both spaz trying desperately to open the door to try and save savage but he blocked it with some pipe. Jack smiles and waves goodbye as his train careens towards the water and Nick and Judy hold eachother and cry. Jack dies, the city is saved, there is a funeral with the whole ZPD and some ZIA agents there and yet in the background Jack is there too putting on sunglasses and walking away before hes noticed.

By the way, y'all should check out >>5856634 and give the author your thoughts! Nearing the final stages, so your feedback would be much appreciated by the writer!
What's on the docket for today? What are we discussing? Who has some tunes they wanna share?
>>5857830
Just look up rabbit reproduction on wiki or anywhere. Honestly rabbits are considered some of the worst parents in the animal kingdom, they'd be extinct if it weren't for the fact they can breed again literally immediately after giving birth
>>5857900
>What are we discussing?
Nick eating/burying Jack's kits alive
>>5857830
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QR-XAVJlLPA
>>5857904
It's more than that. Rabbits are at the bottom of the food chain. They're literally "Fast Food" of the fauna world.
>>5857705
Ah buddy, it does. I hope you feel better, drink lots of water, eat as much as you can keep down, and watch or read or listen to some cool stuff.
What are you sick with?
>>5857920
See, where were you when I wrote Miserable Losers?
>>5857952
I just want to run them all over with a lawnmower.
Does anyone have that video of some girl literally scaring a kit out of a doe giving birth?
>>5856031
Nick: "I smell donuts."
Judy: "That so; those must be Clawhauser's footsteps then."
For the morning crew
Pack Street Episode 15:
Stray
http://pastebin.com/7PbJscHr
A reeling Remmy must begin dealing with the consequences of his recent blowout when one of his neighbors comes to see him.
Starring Remmy Cormo and Betty the Wolf.
I hope you guys enjoy it.
As always, please let me know what you think.
>>5857987
Just a bad cold. It wouldn't be so bad if my cough wasn't bad enough that I end up coughing up a slight amount of blood occasionally.
>>5857987
Puking at "Oh no Nick has a good end after a fucking cuckfic while Judy has to live with her choice of choosing him as a friend and Jack as her lover, I won't stand for that".
>>5858024
I cannot sufficiently express my joy that the sheepdog ship is still a possibility.
>>5857952
>you will never dig them up and kill each of them by scaring them to death to make delicious rabbit stew
>>5856634
I like it! The change from "when he broke him" to "he was away for good" is a minor change, but it makes Nick look good. He did the right, though tough, thing instead of the viscarelly satisfying thing.
The combination of the longer run with the pastor and the climatic ending is very statisfying.

No adventures today, just revisiting a classic.

>>5858028
No good! Take care of yourself anon! All of us are counting on your speedy recovery!
Until then, take it easy.
>>5858039
We shoulda collaborated, buddy! We'd've been a power duo, odd individuals that compliment each other perfectly! Felix and Oscar! Tango and Cash! Judy and Jack!
>>5858097
I'm digging this.
>>5858024
felt like this was quite a bit of exposition dump merely setting up for a main confrontation between Remmy and Al
but since we already know the eventual outcome, it loses a lot of impact
>>5858024
I have to say I liked the chapter, mainly because I enjoy when an author have the characters NOT possess the idiot ball and talk their problems without additional stupid drama (a tendency that I found it is ultimately lacking in many works).
However I can't say much more, since this is a chapter of transition from drama to resolution and/or further drama.
Since it is a 'breather' chapter I need to see it between the previous and the next before issuing my judgement.
But I have to say that I really liked the 'lone wolf' dream.

>>5858024
That expand's Al and Betty a bit, but was kinda hoping Ozzy's situation.
The dream instance was interesting. I liked the poetic nature of it.
Thanks weaver! Can't wait until next chapter.
I personally would have loved to see the conversation between Al and Betty, not that I think we ever would have gotten that. After all, Remmy's the narrator. Not Al or Betty.

>Judy visits Reptillia
>>5858125
Yes they were. But there still was some sideline flirt teasing from her side. And Remmy did think her atractive and said what man would turn down a ride on her.
>>5858207
Hell yeah, buddy! Looking forward to it!
Nice turnover period!
>>5857900
I'll tell you what's going on! We've got a new fic on our hands!
Becca's Pseudo-Penis Adventure 3: Revenge Of The Pseudo-Penis!
Becca has something of a personal problem when she shows up at work today. Will she let her fellow officers help her 'take care of herself'?
This is a good one, I promise.
Edit: Whoops I'm retarded and forgot the link: http://archiveofourown.org/works/8308027
>>5858180
meh. Remmy and by extension the reader is a captive audience due to his illness. I really don't feel it flowed naturally enough to be engaging as you say.
Betty was just there to spout random facts to catch Remmy up on what was really going on around him. and how he should behave (aka bend over) around his neighbors

I forgive you! Hope everyone checks this out! The premise is awesome!
>>5858243
Well, you act as though literally all that happened in the episode was Betty lecturing on wolf facts. Even if you ignore the effects such a speech will have, or the implications it carries, it's not as though there was nothing else of substance, like the fact Betty took care of him, or the things discussed about Remmy's own mental state, or-
>how he should behave (aka bend over) around his neighbors
Go back to sleep Remmy.
>>5858254
I... what?
>>5858232
Let me ask you something. Do you honestly believe anyone will actually want to read this (besides VRbit)?
I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just genuinely curious.
>>5858286
he's written 3 of these fics
the titles are always bait and haven't yet actually reflected what the stories are about
>>5858267

I think I ain't gonna like it.

???
It's not even really the whole title I was talking about, it's more the fact that it's a story about Becca.
>>5858319
Yeah, I know. But really I was under the impression that everyone hated Becca. And the title, whether misleading or not, doesn't really help its case.
But hey, whatever floats everyone's boat.

I'm not doubting the quality of the fic. Especially since I haven't read it and can't really give my opinions on it. I hope those that do read it enjoy it.
>>5858286
>>5858343
Y'aught to give it a shot! Especially this one-- again, the premise is totally cool.
MisterEAnon is taking on a prompt where he takes a reviled concept and works with it. Its one of my favorite ways to write, because it forces you to think critically while putting aside your personal preferences of what you like. You learn a lot by taking something you don't enjoy and figuring out how to make it enjoyable to you while still retaining the purity of it.
Ozzy tried to be a cop

I'm just curious to see if you have any ideas or suggestions as to how to "fix" such "weaksauce storytelling". Or you just sticking to "I don't like it 0/10 shit story"? What's your angle? You don't have to like it, but it'd probably help Weaver if you had anything resembling actual advice since you clearly know so much about writefagging and storytelling.

>>5858571
He made his complaint pretty clear: too expository, not enough action. I personally disagree, because even though it was rather low key, significant things happened in this chapter. Besides, someone sitting Remmy down and explaining things is exactly what a lot of people have been wanting, Remmy included. I think it's a good direction because it breaks from the apparent idiotball/downward slope that the last chapter seemed to threaten.
>>5858571
I probably would have liked the episode more if it wasn't framed around Remmy being sick and Betty taking care of him.
This episode serves as a bridge between the tense conflict between Remmy and Al and it's resolution. I think I would have liked it a lot better if more than just Betty dropped in on Remmy to let him know what the score and situation was. Maybe get a couple different perspectives on the matter
also I'm not saying it's a 0/10 shit story
I'm giving it a C-
>>5858622
You're a dummy!!
>>5858622

>>5858612
His opinion's dumb tho. Remmy's gonna be a captive audience regardless because he's scared shitless of Betty and Al. What does he think would happen if people didn't explain shit to each other?
>>5858585
Meh. This episode just really didn't do much for me. It certainly didn't endear any of the characters to me, that's for damn sure.
>>5858662
>His opinion's dumb tho.
How so? I'm just curious to see if you have any ideas or suggestions as to how to "fix" such "dumb opinions" Or you just sticking to "I don't agree with opinion"? What's your angle? You don't have to share the opinion, but it'd probably help anon if you had anything resembling actual advice since you clearly know so much about opinions and having them.
>>5858635
>I probably would have liked the episode more if it wasn't framed around Remmy being sick and Betty taking care of him.
Personally I felt it was a clever narrative device. I do agree that it was done to keep Remmy in one place and give a diegetic reason for the action to be confined to a single room, but I enjoyed that aspect. After all the running and screaming a low-key episode felt like a good use of breathing space, I enjoyed the pace, and I felt that it was good thematically in how it used "stress" sickness as a metaphor, and later, indicator, for Remmy's mental health.
>>5858701
It is my opinion that his opinion is dumb. Quit being salty
>>5858701
You fucking rekt him. 10/10
>>5858024
Nice little breather chapter, Weaver. I appreciate Betty's no-nonsense approach to life and her refusal to hold onto the "fuck you Remmy you idiot but I'm not going to tell you shit" ball, which a lot of anons have been complaining about for a while. I'd like to believe this'll shut them up, but hey, that's a pipe dream.
>>5858612
I'm sorry, Officer Content! I didn't realize ONLY namefags were allowed to be critiqued and that all mediocre/vague anon criticism should be held on the exact same pedestal as blatant, pointless anon dicksucking. Thank you so much for taking your time to make Zootopia General "a better place". (Just like the Judy Hopps character says in the movie!)
>>5858635
>I probably would have liked the episode more if it wasn't framed around Remmy being sick and Betty taking care of him.
This felt like it was a nod to Nobby. I personally don't ship Betty/Remmy at all, so I can see where you're going with that.
>also I'm not saying it's a 0/10 shit story
Fair enough. You kind of gave that vibe off with your deviantArt-esque "meh"s and "eh! don't like where pack street's going!" flippant attitude, but you seemed to know something about writefagging which is why I asked you to elaborate.
>Maybe get a couple different perspectives on the matter
That's a valid point, but keep in mind that Pack Street's pretty formulaic. Each chapter has a set length (as Weaver's mentioned) and they almost always tend to focus on just one or two non-Remmy characters. I'm positive that other things will happen, but it might have been too much to fit into this one story. Plus it's nice to see something introspective, even if this specific chapter was mostly meandering.
so much arguing
there's a difference between criticism and 'its dumb didnt like it'
that difference is making it 'its dumb didn't like it and here's why'

But there are some small things I would like to see
>Preds fearing they might go savage.
I mean media is filled with "daily" attacks.
Remmy is in constant fear.
But every pred we saw is acting like nothing was happening.(With exception of Avo mentioning it in gym)
Surely some predators would be in mindset of "zombie-bitten victim" that they are just ticking bomb until they snap.
Maybe even some having "Dont go near me!" mental breakdown.
>Someone -
(some of the ladies, Annake would be nice,we didnt saw much of her ,or Velvet when/if he will be apologysing to her)
- asking Remmy why he snapped. Not just "you done fucked up" but actually talking about it with him, what is troubling him.

Well. I bet on Ozzy. He is big enough to do some damage. And known enough to spread panic. Also, basicly the city hall pick targets so Bell could pick some mentaly unstable well-known hyena from pred ghetto.
>>5859127
Yeah I dunno. Here's the thing about that. Bellwether is going for targets in populated areas that are tacitly deemed 'safe' by society or, originally, mammals who know something (see Emmitt and Manchas).
There would be no point for her to have someone on Pack Street darted. Pack Street is a shit hole and it's already unsafe and unsavory because it's a poor, mostly predator neighborhood. Mammals already think Pack Street is dangerous and the preds there half-savage.
>>5859166
>The literal first PS thing Weaver did to introduce us to the environment and characters
>not canon
The fuck is you smokin'?
You know, I get it a lot of people like Zootopia 1.0 - while I'm not a great fan of the slot, I absolutely love gritty dieselpunk aesthetic of the original concept.
But it annoys me so much people just add a collar to Zootopia 2.0 Nick and add Judy imported from the actual film, sometimes without even changing her uniform.
Protozootopia Nick is ultra scruffy and has a diffierent fur colour.
Judy's fur is yellow/ochre, uniform, posture and expressions are completely different.
I know it's autistic, but researching these things requires minimal effort, but it still keeps happening.
>>5859152
The twins weren't in Wannabite.
>>5859173
A little bit of that, a little bit of anatomy: that part is only muscle so it curves a little downward in humans. Actually a small test to see if someone is taking steroids is seeing that muscle (the trapezius): if it is swollen (outward curve) and the person didn't just finish exercising it, it is likely that you're seeing a steroid user (or a person with a serious inflammation).
>>5859263

Well at least vixen prostitutes would be a thing
>>5859299
>bears are blanketed under preds
Well that just goes to show right there. Omnivores are counted as predators by a wider society. Makes sense, since they eat bugs on top of plants.
>>5859328
Wannabite never 'teased' anything.
The events that happened there took place after everything that's happened in the fic series so far.

I'd just like to see a Zootopia tale from an omnivore perspective. See if they accept their label as 'pred' or 'prey' by society or try to contest that they're their own person despite it.
Could be neat.
How many threadgoers have an omnivore sona or omnivorous characters, I wonder. Have they ever thought about it themselves?

Problem is Vixens would probably want to marry up in station so one dating a Todd would probably be rare indeed. While vixens are appreciated by the opposite sex and many species, Todds aren't so knocking up prostitutes aren't pretty much their only chance at both getting laid and at having kids. What's worse, those vixens which do become prostitutes tend to be the ones not attractive enough to marry outside their species

Does Weaver have history of doing things like that?

Perhaps Betty is just helping him with his cold because she feels obligated to?
Not all that important curiosities:
Will Remmy ever get a cutie pred girlfriend?

>>5860826
Sorry I was talking about the chapter before the new one. I did indeed misread it. So what was the lady there to see Ozzy for?
Though I was wrong about Ozzy being landlord, my question is still the same. Wouldn't one need to know who the landlord is when getting an apartment?
Not shitting on Weaver. I'm sure there's some sort of reason. Just curious why Remmy never thought of it before.
>>5860889
Correct:
>Folding his arms, Al leans in to look her in the eye. "What do you think I am, the fucking landlord? What, you run out of things to say so you're just looking around and snapping at whatever you see, or did you just wake up on the stupid side of bed this morning? You can't just come in here and piss all over my den while I stand here and take it!"
But still, the mention in the prior story, Fall Back, has V mistaken Al was the landlord:
>Velvet turns to Al, her brow knitting, her expression suddenly incredulous. "You ACTUALLY didn't tell him? Al, this is completely on you, then! Why didn't you say something? It's your duty as landlord to keep your tenants informed about my business here. You told me that I could count on you to keep the group together. And now you're saying that you just didn't mention it?"
You guys are sweet, but I can't leave, I'm working on some content for all y'all.

>He isn't smoking
>Look at the expression
>pic related
>>5860988
Considering Remmy screams "Al's not the landlord" I think he knows full fucking well who the landlord is.
Based on what we know:
>Al only wears fancy clothes when Velvet is around
>Al has a crush on Velvet
>Al, who's poor as Job's turkey living in a shithole neighborhood whips out a massive wad of cash and waves it around in front of Velvet
>Remmy denies him being the landlord and is immediately silenced by Avo who springs into action to whiteknight Al
Al's putting on airs for Velvet to try to impress her. That's the obvious subtext.

Usually what I do is finish a chapter/story and then give it a day before I go back and look it over with fresh eyes.
>>5858024
This chapter's pretty sweet.
Besides showing how good of a beta Betty is by putting aside her differences with Rem, I loved the surreal dream of his. It expressed his character and currently situation in an interesting manner.
The sheep's change of perspective is made apparent most in this instance of the series, which is really satisfying to read. But the interaction between both characters even more so.
Remmy really tries to understand how Pack Street works, watching his language while he probes important questions about it's make-up. I found that little detail to be very cute.
Betty feels like a mother at this point more then anything else, caring for Cormo and explaining this strange new world, but without falling ooc.
I almost want to say that this is the best chapter of the bunch, for the tranquil atmosphere and calm-before-the-storm nature of it. But I'm excited for what comes next.
>>5861457

I also enjoy how you're still distancing yourself from the usual 'scary researchers with white coats and poor alien' genre.
If I have to move a little critique is that I felt the chapter's pace a tad too slow, even considering the changing style.

This place just doesn't give me the feeling that it's at all in a bad spot, just slow due to both CC's and Anons being busy with irl stuff like school and finals. There's still a general friendly attitude towards people despite the one dude being deliberately hostile.
