I think there's a certain threshold as to how much a character can display while still retaining the coy factor or acting obtuse as to what is really happening around him/her.

take a look at this image for instance. there's a character minding her own business, entirely carefree about her genitalia being exposed. the way her back is arched, her hand gestures, her expression, it all is being done at the expense of the viewer's satisfaction, and it's hot as fuck. her ass is probably running air on the outside of the sphincter, her pussy is dried up and feels ruggy, it's almost as though an invitation to play along it were, like you could whip out your dick and jerk off right in front of her and she would just pretend to care about other things.

So yes, criticism is about making an artist see the possibilities of what they could do, versus what they have already done.

Made a thread on /co/ about a French-Chinese cartoon called The Small Giant. About a little girl who gets turned into a giant. Pretty damn obscure, I thought, but the /co/ thread is a ghost town and nobody seems interested in it. There are some drawings on paheal, so some people knew of it, It has an English dub.

Moxy, the titular 3D dog character of a long-forgotten Cartoon Network relic called "The Moxy Show".

Although he was the first original character for the network, and what could be considered the their unofficial "mascot" of the time, they couldn't make an original series with a totally new character outside of the WB/MGM/Hanna-Barbera properties they had back then, and were only allowed to choose from a list of "B-list" shows. In which Space Ghost was one of the options. Thus "Space Ghost Coast to Coast" finally came into light as CN's first original, and became the sole backbone of Adult Swim and it's originals that followed suit.
