Where we last left off.

You were and still are. Waiting in the bathroom for you know who to show up and be directed into your simple, but ingenious trap.

Your mind swirls with the possibilities on what will happen. Will she attack first? Will she attempt communication, will she vomit on the floor and stumble into a sink? The possibilities are endless. All of them will be ending in your favor, however. You are an armored robot, while not very mobile, you are capable of preforming vast FEATS OF STRENGTH. In an enclosed space you will out preform Betty in combat. She is faster then you, but all it would take is a few decent clocks of your metal claws to get her in a more manageable state.

For now, you twiddle your weird metal fingers and read the walls. They are obviously lined with profanity and even have a gloryhole. You can't find a reason as to why the gloryhole is so high nor why there is a gloryhole in a female bathroom.

As you ponder this, the glowstick tied to your head goes out. Almost as if it were symbolic of what you were about to do. You doubt you will commit any sin outside of wishing for the misfortune of your doppleganger... and possibly fisting them roughly around the bathroom.

Not because they are currently using the bathroom or because you are afraid, but instead because you were beginning to become ENVIOUS of her face and legs. So squishy and pretty unlike your tough metal exterior. It makes you hate her. Just like Betty, but to a significantly less degree.

You lack any sort of map. You have neglected to write anything down from your few weeks of life, but you have a decent memory from running around so much.

There is the Bar, you are there.
Next to that is the Bounty Board. It isn't really for bounty's, but more like a place for posting odd jobs for demons or imps who don't know how to use magic or the internet.

The Store is obvious.
The Giant skeleton of some dead demon.
The Forest of Blood.
Fire, it is fire.
The large imp building where Imps live when not torturing people.
Betty's house.
The Stairs. They are stairs that you climbed up to get here in the first place from the lower levels of hell. You know that upwards is the 2 LEVEL where LUST CONSUMED mortals get blown around by strong winds across smooth, glassy rocks. It is also where MINUS is. You do not want to be caught by MINUS right now since he sorts mortals into the different circles of hell and you are neither a mortal nor a creature of demonic nature. Downstairs is LEVEL 3, the place where Gluttons get eaten by CERBERUS who you also do not want to meet.
There's your home, which is a complete dump of garbage.
Then there is the Furnace. Where the abundant fires are used in order to provide all demons with electricity and hot water. A lovely thing to have in the lower colder realms of hell.

The Hellaverse, or just Hella as called by it's residents, is split into 9 Distinct Levels.

The 1st is where all people who simply weren't good enough to get into heaven go. They're not so much tortured as bullied, being obviously weaker than most demons in hell. Fortunately, most demons on Level 1 are quite weak as well, working more regular jobs. Betty, for instance, is a simply keeps the lost souls in level one "in line." I'll give you a guess as to how well she does said job. This is also where Barkeep is located, working a 9 to 5 as punishment for rejecting jobs that could have saved him.

Level 2 is where those Lustful souls go, their daily torture being dashed upon rocks of obsidian. Of course, said souls aren't battered all day, they need to savour pleasure before they can truly taste pain. Level 2 is home to a fair amount of brothels disguised as various establishments, as well as surprisingly nice restaurants.

Level 3 is for those with a hankering for Gluttony go. There, they are forced to gorge and fast days or even months at a time. Of course, this leaves a lot of time to distract yourself while fasting, so Level 3 has the best entertainment. Movies, arcades, even a museum for art, since the fasters tend to get wistful.

Level 4 is for the Greedy. It is home to an incredible amount of shops, going in and out of business at seemingly random intervals. The lost souls here conduct business to get Hella's currency, Plutons, before it all gets ripped away from them and they're forced to see other, richer souls flaunt their cash. If you want to buy something, here's where you ought to go.

I'll write up the other 5 levels in another post since comment limit was going to be used in Level 5's description. Tell me what you think so far, and if you have any suggestions on where to place characters.

Level 5 is for those with Wrath management problems. It's is a mockery of heaven, faded and crude marble being it's main component. All the lost souls here have attached shock collars, and, should they get even slightly upset, they go off, administering shocks that would kill a mortal. Many souls here have banded into a sort of church or monastery to suppress any anger they may have inside themselves and pray for admittance into heaven.

Level 6 is for Prideful souls. It is profoundly like earth's dingiest possible city, littered with trash and cracked streets. There aren't many demons here, the punishment of Pride filled souls simply being a single spell. They can NEVER succeed at anything they set out to do for themselves. All inventions end in misfires, all fights in both participants losing, all shops never making even a single sale. All these failures are played as intensely personal in nature, and the few demons here will always be willing to offer incredibly obvious advice and "help."

Level 7 is for those of who Envy others a bit too much. Every day, one lost soul is selected as a "winner." All communication devices expound his exploits, while all other lost souls are subjected to the same curse those with Pride are. There are a fair amount of demons posing as humans here, forming a coalition of people treated as kings and queens.

Level 8 Is for those with Sloth. They work around the clock to make things for every other sector of Hella such as computers, basic tools, furniture, basically a huge coalition of sweatshops and factories. These folks are given about a half an hour off every year. Just enough time to almost fall asleep before the whistle is blown telling them to get back to work. If you're looking to start a business, I'd get all the materials here.

Level 9 is where the big cheese is, the ruler of Hella himself. Supposedly this is also where the Stairwell to Heaven is but souls and all but a few demons have no real clue, since no one can enter.

You exit the BAR and stand outside at the JOB BOARD. A BOARD with various JOBS posted on it. All of it having nothing to do with getting to LEVEL 2, but it is still something to note if you want any money.

You will continue on past the IMP ABODES and go to the STAIRS which go UP, DOWN, and FORWARDS. Given that some demons lack MAGIC or even THE ABILITY TO WORK COMPLEX MACHINES. They have to either climb the stairs or take the train. The train goes almost everywhere besides the deeper levels and depending on who you are it can be free. You might be able to ride it if you can convince them that you are CARGO, instead of a demon or a dumb mortal.

You are still standing at the bounty board, but you will soon not be.

You attempt to enter the ENTRANCE to the TRAINS and STAIRS, but end up softly accosted by the group of imps. While you are not a Demon, Imps are still harmless to you given that you lack a SOUL. They are still curious about you and huddle around to inspect your shiny, white, metal legs. It certainly makes you feel a bit of PRIDE in keeping your legs finely painted and clean.

You have a TRAIN to catch, however and you can not play around with imps all day. You start making your way through the curious imps and into the building.

You consult the Daemons(background programs) in your head for the answers and most of them seem to point towards murdering a human for their coins in order to ride.

You would have gone through such a thing if it were not for some voice in your head talking about some sort of bending machine. It takes you a moment to realize that they were talking about VENDING MACHINES. There are a lack of VENDING MACHINES in the TRAIN STATION, but IMPS tend to attempt to trick humans out of their coins by offering to trades snacks, useless tickets, or non existent objects.
There is, however, a type of VENDING MACHINE that dispenses CONDOMS and other BATHROOM and CLEANING PRODUCTS in the BATHROOMS.

You listen to a few voices in your head talk about pity and when A.I's are going to be strong enough to feel something. You think that such an A.I would require an entire network across their current body that sent signals detailing the texture of what it was touching or if said touching object was in a place it should not be. Generally, feeling is useless.

If you were referring to feeling as in EMOTIONAL. You have yourself somewhat covered on that by the creation of DAEMONS(background programs) that are forged from your understanding of an emotion and used to help you make choices and decisions in order to at least copy the organic's "feelings" and understand them. You currently only have ENVY, HATE, and LOVE. You have your SENSE OF LOGIC, but everyone with the ability to make choices has that.
For an actual A.I to feel just like a human or Demon. It would have to copy the thought processes of said creature OR have a SOUL.

I doodled some designs to let people know who it is. I'm just checking in to say that I don't really know how to handle someone else's character and make them interact. Do they do it? Or do I? Do I even need them to have my character interact with their character in some way? This is a little confusing. The Quest can't really progress if The Robot can't interact with the train driver and there is no telling when or where they are in order for the robot to find them.

I also think that I should give the character a name soon besides "Robot Betty" given that they hate having anything to do with Betty or being compared to Betty, yet they still feel they were made just like Betty for the express purpose of filling some role that Betty couldn't fill. Betty, but not Betty.

The number might seem low, but they are from a 1-10 scale. Take for example, 10 in strength can lift trucks while only a 1 can lift a paper clip.

Not many Demons and Humans can go above the max 10 cap on a stat. Demons and humans can pass such things by having a SPECIAL TRAIT, POWERFUL ITEM, or SOULS.

Demonic creatures gain extra stats while in DEMONIC DOMAINS. This is how the TINY IMPS can be AS STRONG AS A GROWN MAN.
