Man, it's been a long time since I linked this alongside an update.

Well here it is, the beginning of the epilogue to "I Can't Lose You."

Lincoln's finally home after five long years, but his home is unrecognizable to him.

This is a pretty small update, mostly because I'm going to try and take this slow, I want to make sure that I do this epilogue right.

I can't believe it's been almost five and half months since I wrote this story, it's mindboggling.

With the bean heads, draw a circle, then draw an oval that extends from one side, and fits with the circle on the other.

Regardless, practice with drawing circles or ovals with different sizes.

Started drawing last month and recently tried practicing with heads. So far with what I do when drawing heads (facing towards you to be specific), I draw a vertical oval for the shape of the head. The lower half for the oval is used for the jawline and such.

Always been pretty comfortable with my drawings, picked up quite a bit of what I use these days 10-15 years ago(when I was in the late years of elementary school), but I've not drawn much since 2007, until TLHG that is.

I'm pretty much always slightly uncomfortable with how the final product looks after sketching and inking, but I think everyone has that little feeling of "I could have done better".

One thing I try to do is mix stuff up with dynamic poses now and then, because I know I suck at those compared to the stiffer "standing around" and there's no way to improve without trying and failing first.

I'd make sure to sketch the headshape over and over again until I was perfectly(or mostly) happy with it. The circle head are a bit wonky here, so redo them if you notice this yourself. Since it's one of the first things you'll draw any way, you aren't erasing much.


Then again, I almost always do pencil first, while you seem to do ink from the start.

I've only done a few pics with no pencil and ink from the start, and it looks way worse because I don't have the pencil sketches to fill in and any mistake with shapes is pretty much final.
