It was honestly very odd and annoying for them to write Pyrrha as shy as they did about Jaune.

Sure he showed interest in Weiss first but Weiss was so obviously uninterested, I dont understand what could have made Pyrrha think it would go anywhere.

If they are in any way decently thinking this ahead, they can easily mature Jaune and set up a romance with Weiss that is believable. Obviously, doubts are to be had about that.

This is why I hate the time skip being 6-8. That timeskip alone is worth at least a whole volume that focuses on RNJR.

Another reason that RT need to expand their resources, manpower and productivity to create longer episodes, and faster. 12 episodes per year that are 10-14 minutes long without the intro and outro are not cutting it. Sometimes I wonder if they should drop some of their other shows and focus more on RWBY.

It is incredibly off-putting to just skip that much time right after a major character death, as well as all of the other events that happened around the same time.
Even a show don't tell style traveling montage highlighting some of their more daring escapades and tender moments would have been better than skipping over the entirety of the adventure.

Imagine if Tolkien, when writing The Hobbit, went straight from Bilbo Baggins' hobbit hole all the way to the other end of the Misty Mountains. Imagine he had just summed up everything from point A to point E in one or two paragraphs of exposition.

You don't tease the viewer's cock with an epic journey wrought with danger and elements unknown to both our heroes and the audience, only to not deliver on that journey. It creates a disconnect. Now the heroes know significantly more than the audience does about the world they inhabit. The only way for them to convey that information now is through boring Brian Bendis tier dialogue, and incessant flashbacks that hold less value since we go into them knowing that our protagonists all made it out in one piece.

Miles and Kerry have this awful habit of slowing the pace down to a crawl when it should be sped up, then speeding it up when it they should be slowing it down.
