Dead? No. The /ztg/ has fallen off a bit from it's high point, and that's a trend that will doubtlessly continue, but a fandom like this never really dies. New fan content will still be created, even if it's not in the same amount as before. And if and when things like a sequel or TV show pop up interest will be renewed.

We may reach the point where /ztg/ is only one thread a day, or even several days, but we'll never be completely gone.

I don't regret liking FiM, or even the newer seasons. They do some things I dislike or that Hasbro obviously pushes on them, but I don't think it's ruined. Still mostly the same with some differences.
