In "Consequences" Judy doesn't so much as physically abuse Nick as verbally. She has been trying to push their relationship into having sex and not just oral and toys, but Nick has been hesitant the whole way, even having needing a lot of coaxing to share a bed with Judy. After Nick refuses sex after a hard case, a drunk Judy basically asks if she is only good enough to be a snack and not actually fuck, calling him a damn pred and a fox who is afraid to commit. So Nick leaves the apartment before things can heat up anymore, and Judy leaves to get even more drunk and brings home a buck.

The worst part about her bringing home a buck is how it happened; Judy had her chance to back out of it. She was ready to tell him off only to stop and think that the buck wasn't bad looking. She has a moment where she thinks of Nick before flirting with the buck with the idea that "it wasn't anything serious, it was just flirting." A few more drinks into the night...

We are three chapters in and we have yet to reach max velocity of how badly Judy fucked up. The buck in question is a cocky shit who proudly tells Nick, who he thinks is just Judy's roommate, of how good the sex was. So he is probably going to tell all of his friends and that news is going to get out. Nick was going to ask Judy to marry him, only to find this, and leaves the apartment saying he needs time to think, already not thinking of their apartment as "home" anymore. No mentions of protection so Judy is most likely pregnant, and she doesn't seem to have noticed the velvet box that Nick left on a counter so THAT will be a great scene when that hits her.

So yeah, Judy will probably have to face the "Consequences" of her actions.

Writeyote is a friendly coyote who works at the Zootopia Natural History Museum as a tour guide. There, he recounts all the ancient history of Zootopia from long, long ago-- as far back in time as when we used to actually discuss the movie!

As much as he likes recounting the stories of Cleopanther, Oliver Cromolewell and Simón Bullívar, he wants to be a writer! I know Writeyote is a great writer because he always asks for opinions on them, and a great writer will always seek the feedback on their work from others. Even Micel Proust had a first draft he ran past colleagues, which lead him to do a massive rewrite! (Though some people thought the original would have been better. You can read more about it in his autobiography, "In Search of Lost Tame Collars".)

On top of history and writing, Writeyote likes to delve into the occult, reading Lovecraft and other cosmic horror stories! Cosmic horror is the feeling of pure and total insignificance in the face of something far greater than yourself, like how writers feel when compared to artists!

When he's not working, Writeyote likes to relax by painting miniatures. His favorite is this setting that's an is an absurdly overblown grim, dark world with a raging conflict where all the races hate each other and everything is taken to a ridiculous extreme!

The problem is that consequences can range from a slap on the wrist with her admiting she fucked up hardcore and prostrating herself with no hopes of fixing anything but showing regret while Nick forgives her, to the whole precinct finding out she cheated on Nick hardcore due to the chatty buck, Nick cutting all ties and going WildeMeyer fic, Judy ending up pregnant, having to take a maternity leave, realizing she is antagonized by the whole force so she ends up doing desk work alone most of the time, she can't raise kids and work, her parents want her to return so they don't take her kids unless she returns, so she sinks into an emotional and literal squalor living in a box under a bridge until finally she has no choice but to go back home with that cute fuzzy-wuzzy little tail between her legs to become a carrot farmer.

I was waiting eagerly for this all day, and was not disappointed. Sociopath Violet has to be my favorite version of her so far, and the way this unfolds is great. I am not completely sure though of what exactly Violet wanted him to see; her telling Nick that Judy loves him, how he reacted to "Judy", or just them having sex? Or a combination of all three and she will see the results of their night in future interactions between Nick and Judy for further study.
Overall, great job! We needed more Violet.

I refuse to think that Nick couldn't eventually move on from Judy, or at least get into a routine where he can go through life. The problem isn't changing types, the problem is that JPG is a lossy format.

You can choose to trade image quality for image file size when creating a JPG in a real program instead of paint, and most of the type, it will have lost a bit of quality and have artefacts. JPG's big advantage is smaller file sizes, precisely thanks to trade loss of quality.

PNG and GIF, on the other hand, are lossless, meaning they will never affect the picture itself. They have rather big file sizes for complex images, like a photo for example, but pics with little variation and complexity end up with really small file sizes. Notice how our drawfags tend to use PNG.

I get ya, and there is a certain morbid curiosity to that effect. At the same time, I can kind of see where she was coming from, at least initially. Now, everything after that point is a series of colossal fuck ups on her part. And that's the thing, they're fuck ups; she's not a bad person, just someone who made tremendously bad decisions that have wound up hurting both Nick and herself greatly. I suppose I find that simply too sad to really take any joy in her comeuppance, deserved or not.

You know what, I'd like to see a breakup fic where acknowledge that what has happened is both a breach of trust too great to continue a romantic relationship, but also was not fully intentional.
