Always wondered why they didn't go full effort and wear something closer to the contours of the body. Especially the head. Its always a dumb oversized mascot head. Why can't they actually glue fake fur to their skin? They do it for movies. Why can't they use a muzzle prosthetic or something.

Basically I'm disappointed at 99% of fursuits and think you guys could do better.

Jap suits are usually like this. I think it might be a difference in fashions and inspiration more than level of skill, really -- japs are playing off of anime baes with exaggerated proportions and titty armor, western suits are playing off of straight-limbed cute-by-simplicity disney stuff.

It'll be pretty weird, but just be sincere and you'll be fine.

As for suits, partial is the cheapest option, takes up the least space and is easiest to clean and put on/ take off.
Plantigrade suits (>>5456483, >>5462218, >>5473937) are usually not heavily padded and are kind of a middleground between partial and digitigrade.
Digitigrade suits (>>5460032, >>5469527, >>5470547, >>5502559) are probably what you think of when you picture a fursuit. Very padded, often difficult to put on solo, let alone get off after you've been sweating in it for an hour... are the hardest to clean due to all the padding and are just super hot and heavy. They look awesome though and everyone will want to hug the shit out of you!

Instead of bulging out, the eyes go inside the mask. This way when you move around, more of the white around the pupil becomes visible making it seem as if the pupil is moving.
