It's evolutionarily more advantageous to have one group as the dedicated baby factories and one as the disposable sperm dispensers. It allows you to put the dispensers into greater risk in hunting and hard labour as you only need a few to continue the tribe.

Herms wouldn't have the advantage of sacrificing themselves quite to casually since they're all equally valuable in terms of reproduction. Every herm lost is as major a blow, since it's the equivalent of loosing both a male and a female for a reproductively divided tribe.

Of course, you could argue that it could be fixed by instating a hierarchy of disposable and indisposable herms inside the tribe, but that would eventually lead to the development of different sexes, since the indisposable ones fill the female role and the disposable ones fill the male role, so their unnecessary sexual characteristics would eventually atrophy into nothing over the generations.

I remember hearing a theory that Homo Sapiens conquered and absorbed Homo Neanderthalensis because while the Neanderthals were superior physically and roughly equal in intelligence, they didn't have a rigid societal division between males and females. Consequently, they couldn't replace their losses as efficiently, since many of their warriors were female as opposed to the all-male human warriors, and were eventually overrun.

Still, it might be a fun exercise to devise a scenario where a tribe of herms could survive without compromising their hermaphroditism. Can't do it myself at the moment, I have other things to do, so have at it.

In a primitive, might-makes-right environment, yes. When there are groups in direct physical competition, the one with with the most effective military culture will triumph. The most effective military culture tends to be the sort that enforces rigid divisions between the sexes, with the women producing fresh troops and the men sacrificing themselves unquestioningly.

Modern technology has rendered this dynamic much less relevant. In fact, this whole push for equality is a direct consequence of tech making it viable. Despite what the feminists will tell you, most women throughout history were quite fine with the way society was set up, since they were absolved of most responsibilities and protected from danger by simple virtue of being female. In fact, the main issue with female suffrage was the fear that it would subject them to the draft. Well, they got the vote without that responsibility attached and still think they don't have any privilege, hah.

Funny thing is, egalitarianism taken to it's logical extreme would involve making everyone herms, since absolute equality requires everyone has the exact same starting point. Doubtful that'll happen anytime soon, though. Would make for a pretty interesting setup for a sci-fi story, though. I think I've heard of some stories exploring that, but can't remember their names.

Not necessarily. Equality of outcome is when you force everyone to make the same choices and engineer things behind the scenes so that everyone ends up with the same results. Equality of opportunity is giving everyone the same start and telling them to "go nuts".

Thing is, equality of opportunity taken to it's logical extreme means making everyone the same so that nobody has any advantages or handicaps to start with. That could only be achieved with very impressive biotech, though, so since people have the choice, presumably, to alter themselves however they wish after their "coming of age", you'd still get all kinds of wacky shit.

Have you actually tried? It is possible if you're not too overweight and your anatomy is compliant, Like your torso isn't too long, neck can bend enough, dick long enough, etc.

Basically lay on your bed on your back, scooch down so your butt is 2/3 of the way down to the foot of the bed, then roll backwards and throw your legs up over and then behind your head until your dick is positioned over your face and hanging down. Your feet might hit the wall behind your bed, in which case you can support yourself that way, or if you had enough room they'll be on the bed somewhere behind your head. My favored position is actually to drop my knees down to either side of my head at this point.

Basically the pose you're looking for is similar to the one the girl in the pic you posted is in... except rotating her counter-clockwise 90 degrees. Once your dick is over your face, you can start trying to relax your back, hips, and waist to start trying to bring yourself down to your mouth. It's unlikely you'll be able to get more than the tip or so in if you can make it, so no guarantees you'll be able to do like her in the pic.

Warning though: Unless your anatomy is particularly compliant, this will put significant strain on your neck, compress your chest so it's hard to breathe, and otherwise be rather unpleasant. Don't hurt yourself by trying to do it for too long. Also the effort required is going to probably make it more difficult to stay hard.

Def worth trying though imo, can be pretty fun.

Make the ballsack look more like an actual sack. I know it'll be kind of difficult with the angle you have, but it looks kind of like her sack is non-existent and the testicles themselves are hanging.

To fix it, keep the outline of the whole ballsack, but only have the middle line go down halfway. That way it looks like one whole thing like it should and not two. It's looking good though. I'm impressed.

Nicely done, I think bit by bit your anatomy has been significantly improving. (Though take that with a grain of salt, I have no real art knowledge)

I also like that Alina seems to be picking up a bit more feminine curves to her, as I can see under her left arm there. That's one thing I always wished you would add a bit more of to your characters, particularly around the waist/butt area.

I also like seeing Alina with two natural arms... buff herms are kinda my thing!
