A question to everyone, how important is things like canon and context to you? For me, it's essential, literally impossible to enjoy drawing someone's character without it. I notice many people (especially for lewds) waive that kind of thing, and I suppose that's fine and leads to more drawings, but I think everyone's guys would be more interesting if it was kept in mind. More challenging for the artists as well.

Not to sound like a mandate is needed or whatever, but it's something I would hope more people would work on. Going even further, having drawn or written examples of said context would be even better. Just as long as it's not an uninteresting info dump and is done in a way viewers/potential artists would LIKE to see it.

I sometimes forget the thread is more tailored to requesting, but being an OC thread I think there's bound to be a good amount of artists here. I think it would be more engaging if artists would trade more with each other here, or to think less rigidly, just doodling characters doing whatever together (back and forth if possible) instead of just shitton of bumps and ref dumps.
