Yeah, this is the only real place to discuss it with Anons, /v/ lost interest in it.

As for thoughts on the demo, I am shocked at how much they put into it, I expected maybe the tutorial area and one more after it. Instead, they put in like a third of the green zone, the red Hub, and maybe a quarter of the yellow zone or so.
They clearly know what they're doing (and with the possibility of it getting a full modding kit and Workshop support in the future,) Haydee is looking damn good for a 3D Metroidvania.

yeah, I was also surprised how much there is in the demo.
Personally, I liked the demo a lot, but I'm a bit worried about the glassy combat. Unless you get a drop on enemies, you're basically dead immediately, especially when you're attacked from behind or the side.
Combine that with limited saves and VERY limited tools, and you get situations where you might have to restart several hours into the game because you have no way to progress. Like you know that one cage room puzzle where you just have to kill ~6 robots back to back. Imagine you only have 10 bullets, you can't progress at all.
They seem too focused on hardcore elements (like medkits and limited ammo/saves) but don't seem to add them to a whole. They just dump them all in to make it "hard".
Let's hope they know what they're doing when it comes to the full game. The screenshots seem to have a decent amount of gadgets like mines, so hopefully the ammo limit will make us get creative, instead of just stopping our progress.

Actually, if you hunt around and check every nook and cranny like an obsessive madman, they give you plenty of stuff.
Also, as for mobs all but killing you unless you can get the drop on them, there's a part in the Yellow sector (one full of gas) you will love.

The button dildo is tied to some other object, not in Demo.
Gas mask is not in Demo, I did the absurd and beat everything in the demo no-hit, gathered all 5 health packs, then used them carefully to traverse as much of the Yellow zone as I could.

no hitting the demo is pretty impressive imo, good job!

I feel like this game could really use a supplement to the basic gunplay. something like a reflex mode, or at least a melee shove.
OR, seeing as the combat feels rather similar, damage areas like in Receiver.

Eh, even when they lunge, if you maintain a good aim and don't flail, you can usually deal with it.
I think the hardest time I had with popping a bot was probably the 2(haha, 3) Assassin bots in the Green Keycard room.

Green keycard room. The path to open it is a bit convoluted, but you know the room with the Brawler guarding two doors, one to the left and one to the right, the right one has an Assassin bot in it (opened by button on left door) and left goes into a room with a locked chest?
There's a vent shaft that leads elsewhere in that room at the top right. Have fun.

One Anon mangaged to edit her model AND convert it back to the .mesh file. As a result, he uploaded a thicker 2.0 mesh that widened haydees hips noticeably.

So if you've got the first demo (demo v1.0) you put the Suit_D.dds (suit texture), and optionally Suit_E.dds (lights on the back of her head) + Suit_N.dds (bumps / lighting effects to look like bumps i.e. if it looks like her body is continuous or if there's lines where her skin colored legs begin and her robot flat shiny colored body ends) + Suit_S.dds (how light reflects off her i.e. her white body is shiny but her legs are matte looking and skin looking - for my white robot I made her legs shine too) and also Suit.mesh (her body - so far theres just normal, thinner v1 as in webm, thicker v1 as in webm, and a thicker v2 which only makes her ass and legs wider not her upper body wider) into:

This affects all Haydees including yours

In demo v1.1 you put what you want all the other haydees to look like into:
/Haydee/Actors/Haydee/
and how you want your own Haydee to look in:
/Haydee/Outfits/Eva/

The game will only replace textures and files if they're found in these folders, so if you omit anything the game uses its default ones. It's easy then to make haydee thinner by just adding the .mesh, or to only affect her texture by only moving the Suit_D here etc
Seems like the '/Outfits/' folder will be used later for mods so you can switch between skins / models in game in the ESC menu

Here's the shitty guide to texturing Suit_D that I never really did a better version on. Might do thou. I procrastinate a lot.

I tried, spent about 2 hours when the demo came out, using some skyrim hd nude mod textures. It came out eh, I'm not the best at modding anyway, I've barely done more than extract demo files and recolour texture files (and replaced some sound files but didnt see much potential). Someone else uploaded some high heels sounds too actually, but they're eehh.
