I can respect that. That's the reason I avoided mentioning any leftover remains in my past greens. Most people who get off to popping tend to use it as a metaphor for climax, and a good deal of them want nothing to do with the darker snuff-like aspects. That said, the second Chrysalis story is going to be a more messy than the last.

Here's a thing for anyone who hasn't bought it yet. I'd recommend still buying it anyway. Non-pop ending included, and lower resolution of the two sets. That being said, given the style, resolution doesn't really matter that badly. Don't expect the link to be permanent, save it if you want it.

That kinda shows. Cutting open an inflated mare is pretty far from her popping. I love both clean or gory popping, but it seems like this crosses the line into outright mutilation/desecration. I could see something somewhat similar working out though.

Some people like popping at different levels. People like clean popping because.. well it's clean and more cartoony.
Gore popping.. well we all know what that is.

The idea there is similar to popping but its incredibly dark and sinister in the manner of being a heartless murderer, which when you think about it.. it's pretty out of character for Rarity.

I do like popping but usually with the implication that one who popped is still alive via reformation, or, if you want to be creative...
The victim pops into rubbery pieces but is still alive. One of the rubbery scraps would have their face (Generally just being their eyes and maybe the mouth as well) and would need help being put back together (or end up being formed into something else)

This is one of the things I was worried about when I committed to writing the second Chryssi story. Three popping greens in a row is a bit much, and with how little new content we get, it isn't hard to reinforce the current theme of discussion. The last thing I want to do is cause a schism that will reduce our numbers even further. There are things that can be done to mend the issue and reduce conflict, however. Semi-flexible ground rules for a polite society, if you would. I'd advise everyone to read through this and discuss. Given that we're all here for round pone, and only part of us are here for 'splody pone, most of this are concessions from the bursting side.

This is a big one. Cruelty and malicious intent should be softened when possible. I rewrote numerous sections of Hail to the Queen until I had something that was considerably less grimdark than it used to be. I'm not saying to completely remove all elements of sadism, but it can't be something as intense as >>5115656 posted. We are here for roundpone, not Cupcakes.

I like gore. Most people don't. If you want to write about it, leave it vague. This is again drawing back from the fact that many here want nothing to do with snuff. The Chryssi story is on hold for a few greens, and will be forked into two. One non-pop, and one extra-pop. The extra-pop will only be posted to the pastebin, and the previous inhibitors will be removed. The next two or three greens will be a much more playful nature, like the oneshot dropped above. I want this place to hold together, but I sure as hell don't want it to become an echochamber. And if we drive away one side or the other that's what it'll become.
