There is one question that is floating around my head from when you first showed this picture: considering that this is a medieval armor, made in times where one should get the most effective and at the same time cheap protection, would it make sense to have that special deformation in the helmet for the ears? I can understand for ceremonial armor or helmets for mammals with big ears (fennecs, jerboa, etc.) but wouldn't make more sense to have a more rounded helmet for the combat armor of the majority of mammals?
