I like sadness that actually has hope of some kind in it.
Like if the bellwether wins comic had ended with maybe Nick and Judy's parents getting to know each other or some shit, even if Bellwether still won, there was an upside.

But it was just sadness sadness sadness, Nick crying over Judy's grave for a couple days, then possibly being beaten to death by her dad.

I just don't get the point of stuff like that.

On the other side, theres stuff like The Unimabinable, which was sad but still had hope to it. I ignore the last chapter because i thought it was a dumb way to end the story, but with just the first 4 chapters, it was actually nice and uplifting in a strange way, even though it was about Nick being depressed about killing Judy under nighthowler influence.
