Hello. Please do not be concerned as snout positioning is rather difficult, experiencing problems in this area is rather common. There are multiple tutorials on drawing Nick, though key take aways to besr in mind are

>snout must be builtnfrom basic shape first - do not be afeaidnto experiment or intentionally place it in the "wrong" place - it kight help you to adjust it if you knowntou have an incorrect starting point

Though assuming you are aware of the above, please bear in mind lines must flow organically - you must not draw snout, eyes and jaw as separate items. Byron's youtube tutorial on drawing Nick gets the point across very well. Please do also check videos by Fanny Malvezin - draw along with the videos, it should considerably improve your understanding on proportions, positioning and relation of the snout length to the length of the head.

Hello. Let's get start with the speech bubbles, which are a problematic issue for a large number of artists.
General rule for comic composition dictates speech bubbles ought be planned first, with art composed to supplement them. There are different schools of thought, although the reality sees a healthy balance between readjusting both the artwork and the bubbles to make for a good composition, with dialogue being given priority lane.

It might help placin the speech bubbles first as well as writing the dialogue, stripping it to essentials in so far as to estimate the volume of text required to leave one enough of a wiggle room to make minor adjustments, otherwise the situation can be compared to recutting opening for the windows after the house has been built.

As for the "natural" composition of comic panels, there should be a certain "flow" to the panels, guiding reader's eyes via gestures or accounting for the reader will follow the direction of gaze of character in the latest panel. For classic composed comics with rigid structure (such as Pocket Change) it is less of a concern as there are no boundaries to deviate from, although for more complex compositions we recommend the below guide as a good starting point http://www.idrawdigital.com/2009/11/tutorial-composition-and-page-layout/
