Elective Amnesia made me mad. It had a good start, but after they turned in their conflicting reports, i think the story went south pretty fast.

Mostly because Nick is the cynical always correct victim while Judy is just an incompetent idiot.

She becomes convinced the fox who was actually framed committed the crime, then starts dating the victim of the crime during the case. Except it turns out he was the criminal all along. And Nick has to use vigilante justice to save the day.

Then the last chapter is basically just Judy feeling bad for being wrong and then Nick forgiving her because hes just a great guy.

Ugh, do i sound annoyed? Because Im annoyed just thinking about it. What a waste

Really good stuff. Paints a great picture of Fournier's personality and the kind of shit he has to deal with on the job. Ending was great too. Definitely will be taking lots of cues from this when I get to writing lyrics.

I really like it so far, but goddamn Bellwether is unlikable. I mean, I know that's the point of the story but I think I would have liked a bit more subtlety. That's just personal preference though, nothing against the story itself. Despite that though, I actually really enjoy the idea of pulling predators off of investigations due to stereotyping and racism and so far it's been done really well. I also really loved the interaction between Bogo and Fournier. On that note, quick question. Is Masopha the canon name for Bogo? Or something you came up with?

I'm not entirely sure how much this one will influence the lyrics of the song, but it definitely helps me understand Fournier's personality and his interactions with others. I'll wait and see what you have for chapter 4 before I start writing the lyrics.

Masopha is just what I came up with. It means "Chieftan" in one of the native South African languages, and it lets his initials be "M.Bogo". I WANT to say that Bellwether being that unlikable is intentional, that it's so obvious because Fournier isn't a racist and everything she's doing is rubbing him wrong, but it's probably just because I lay it on too thick.

Looking forward to it. The part of Chapter 4 that's important is just some blackmail, detailing what he has to hide in his closet and what can actually hurt him. If I don't finish the rest of the chapter, I'll at least put that on pastebin for you.
