Is it your very first attempt at drawing? Because it is a good job if it is.

Line is sketchy, that's true, but you without using basic shapes you managed to place the legs into perspective, which shows you have a good eye - you can always improve on details and rendering relatively easily, but if catching up on perspective sighting is much more difficult, you can smugly smile to yourself in a moment of brief satisfaction.

Try drawing it again, but using basic shapes for the construction this time.

Pretty much, yeah. The main issue I've noticed is I lack the memory for the minute details- I tend to look at the picture, draw, and when I look back my lines are curved in more 'generic' ways, as opposed to the finely-curved little things.

There we go, managed to prevent sideways. Anyway... It's a little better. Ears are off compared to OP (More like generic rabbit ears), tail is too short and doesn't quite curve enough, doesn't capture the bend properly. I gave up on the legs, as they were too detailed to properly capture, though I did pay attention to the shape of the paws (The word almond comes to mind, even though I'm sure it's irrelevant?)

Head shape and line quality should see improvement, eyebrows should not be directly connected to the nose bridge lines.

Take a look at the lines you drew for both ears and compare it to the one you used to define top of the head - try imagining the shape fo the head and doing the same confident strong line like you did for both ears.

Also, paws. They are the most difficult thing ever, but do not fear them. Embrace the paws, accept the paws, draw paws until you like drawing them. See picrelated and thank Alec for going through the trouble of making this tutorial - he made a couple of more I could share with you if you'd like.

But for the first attempt, it's a very nice fucking job.
