I do agree that it's premature to write the whole thing off when this is literally the first time we've seen these villains, but even I admit that this first look doesn't seem that promising. They seem stock.

I just want them to be a bit more fleshed out. There's potential, but it can easily be squandered.

The big problem that I think soured everyone was the big delay for the update. Between talks of it maybe being drawn by guest artists, to Nicholas saying it might take a YEAR to finish at the current rate, and to the fact that the last few were pretty rushed and left Nick & Judy's plots at a potentially directionless area.

An absolute must would be both Nick and Judy are playable; I'm not sure if you could swap on the fly or not, but they'd both have unique forms of mobility. Judy can go through small openings and traverse obstacles by jumping off of things like with the giraffe's car. Like many anons, I'd start with an open world city, in the style of GTA-esque games.

And as an added option, there would be a Free Mode, akin to the Lego games, where you can instead play as nearly any character in the film and game, with lots of mini games and side missions, as well as a possible online mode.

desu senpai the real star of Zootopia aren't N&J but Zootopia itself. Open world is an absolute necessity, tho I suppose recreating it faithfully and to scale would be a mammoth task even by GTA standards. The main game mechanic is completing comfy quests of various types, racing, platforming, cops-and-robbers and so on. Outside of the quests there could be some item-hunting and a little business management, like buy one of various businesses, tweak prices and costs, manage products, see costumer feedback, make sure you're attracting the right consumers for the area, do chores like announcing it on a loudspeaker car etc.

Hello, Thursday shill anon here!

I think our first edition exceeded everyone's expectations - I'll tally up the submissions before the weekend and put them up somewhere, probably on a tumblr blog to keep everything in one place, unless someone has a better idea.

Anyway, a few items on the agenda:
