I kinda agree the flash forward to Nick just being dead isn't the best way to end it. I honestly thought it did end the previous chapter, and it was a good ending to the whole thing. It left things mysterious, but hopeful that he could recover.
I dunno, maybe it would have been better if there was a much larger scene with him as a cop before he died. Or just ending it right before then when he's contemplating being a cop, allude that he took it, something like that.

It seems to make the most sense. This seems to be a world where many different races live together by default instead of races being completely seperate from eachother for a long time. It seems like from the beginning you had different species working alongside eachother, with the divide of Predator and Prey existing. I think 1 race places WOULD exist, Bunnyburrows seems like it's 99% bunnies and a few dabbling of different races that live there, but for the most part just really fucking huge cities or areas where a lot of animals meet up and cities sort of grew from them. As someone who posts both here and in /fnafg/, the difference is night and fucking day. I don't know how or when or why they turned so bitter and poisonous but they sure did. On that topic, I feel undertale is one fandom I didn't get that into, though I really did have a great time with the game and tossing around the lore
One aspect was that, because the story was so small and self contained, and there were so few extrapolate-able patterns, there wasn't a lot to do with it, unlike Zootopia, where it's a huge open world with infinite possibilities, or even FNAF, which is just a big blank canvas since almost nothing is painted out
But I think one of the reasons I never got too into the threads is they just moved SO FAST
just keeping up with them was exhausting
People complain that the start of every Zootopia thread is just a mad rush of 20-50 images being spammed, and that's true, but that's how most generals go
it's a combination of people who'd been waiting to post something in the last thread but didn't want to post too close to the limit (or just missed it), and people who feel the need to repost certain things every thread (and unfortunately that list grows with every new iteration)
But in /utg/ it felt like that was the entire thread. The same comics and pictures would be posted over and over in every thread, never eliciting new responses or accompanying any conversation, and as such they'd just get passed over -- which in turn usually encouraged people to mentally glaze over a lot of what was posted in general
In all the time I watched the threads they never seemed to slow down and I just couldn't really get comfortable with the pace, I guess. It was too hectic for me.
The reception I got was as bad or worse than when I showed up in Zootopia /co/ threads and everyone started spamming pony and drawing out huge arguments to show how bad I was for the threads, saying "I'm shitposting because of him, so really it's his fault" -- really the same sort of thing in UTG, though maybe a bit less dogged (at first)
either way I did have fun with it while it lasted but I eventually just stopped, without needing to be "stolen away"

Imagine being able to play games or read books or eat or anything while still making progress. Imagine a long road trip you can just tune out for and shitpost on 4chan or play DS for the duration. Imagine NAPPING and waking up at your destination. My god. As someone who hates driving, it'll change the world. Not to mention reducing accidents, road rage, overall stress levels, etc.
Driving is incredibly stressful (at least in a lot of high traffic situations) and so many people have long commutes affect their health because of it. But if you could spend your hour-long commute relaxing, getting some last-minute work done, or just finishing waking up, it might make life a lot easier.
Hell, people without driver's licenses are going to be able to drive around now.

Oh absolutely, I don't regret almost anything I've drawn (at least not that I've shown publicly) and I don't regret my association with any of the fandoms, even if it brings detractors
When I stopped changing my name and took a single handle I knew it would mean inter-work influence. Part of the entire reason I spent so long without a singular moniker was because I didn't want people hating work B because they hated work A. I wanted to avoid this exact sort of situation you see with people posting my pony drawings in the zootopia threads to prove to everyone they should hate me.
I didn't want people starting off sour on RubyQuest because they hated the dumb animal crossing comics I'd made, or vice versa (and yes, this happened a LOT when people found out)
But in the end I guess I just got tired of it
So yes, I stand by everything I've done in the past, even the weird or spergy or ridiculous garbage. It's just part of what I am now.
Most folks are able to just put aside what they don't like, and focus on what they do. And if they can't, they're probably not going to be a fan of mine anyway

I understand, but I choose to believe that love doesn't have to be selfish. That it's possible to love someone for who they are, and want them to be happy. I'm not entirely sure why that anon is so upset. I mean, the series of pictures he's talking about was from, I dunno, maybe a year ago? And there's been a long period of time of no complaints until just a few days ago by this guy. I guess he's having fun, or he wouldn't be here. It's just so surreal to me, to want to spend your time badmouthing a nobody drawfag like me on a thread like this.

The whole experience was weird: initially I felt wounded by what he was saying, when at first I genuinely thought it might be multiple people with actual greivances and legitimate reasons for me to take a closer look at how I behave and what I make
