It's just another kind of TF. Some people like that more in particular, and as TF goes, it's relatively straightforward and doesn't require inventing much more than what's already there. You can go from human to human, without having to draw from specific stereotypes or trying to invent fantasy stuff.

It's not my thing in particular, but I can see why it's a very accessible kind of TF fetish, and thus why it's so popular, even within other forms of TF.

Since this threat got weirdly aggressive about trans people I can chime in on that too. I highly recommend using "Open Tweet Image" in combination with "Twitter Image :orig promoter" greasemonkey scripts. The first one adds a little box to the side of an image you have opened in that black preview thing that you can click on that brings you to the individual image, very useful for multiple image posts. Orig promoter automatically changes the URL of the twitter image to the .orig format so you get the original image that was posted instead of something that is downsized. Also be careful with your favorites, because if you do too much from a specific artist you might be seen as a bot and then get blocked from that artist. Also instead of scrolling you can click on an image (while viewing the main tweet section, not media) and then use the arrow keys to navigate through their images. This ignores .gifs and videos though so you have to manually scroll for that.

Must have been the first time I came across this stuff and I'm fairly certain that this site is responsible for the majority of my TF fetishes.

How about a girl or a couple in a photobooth taking loads of silly pictures in a funfair photobooth, loads of silly expressions. As they take more pictures they become more and more furry, and the pictures become 'looking at one another', 'tearing clothes', 'grinning fanged grins at camera', etc.

It might help to start with an established character--gives you a known baseline from which to start the changes. Pick a hot chick (or guy, whatever you're into), think of some animal which has traits which could be sexily incorporated into the character's existing ones, and draw them in the middle of the transformation.

Depends on how you want to approach the subject.
You could do what anon above me said and just mix and match human parts and make it look sexy.

I always try to come up with some kind of a story before I start drawing.
What's going on in the pic? Why? What led to the TF?
Was it magic or science that caused it.
Is the subject willing or unwilling?
Is there an element of shock, fear, pain or is the subject happy about it?
Is it sexual or empowering like turning into a powerful strong creature in a non-sexual manner?

That's one of the main appeals of this stuff for me as an artist.
All pictures work the best when there's a story or some context involved, rather than "Person stands in a void and poses for the viewer"
TF pictures lend themselves to stories and tons of questions very easily.
