but just some points of clarification for the record:

1. Judy moved into the apartments much earlier in this comic (I guess "AU"?) and still had until the next week before she started at the precinct.
2. She'd therefore been living there for some time, and was not a stranger to her neighbors (we see at the very least that she has interacted with them before, that they are on somewhat familiar terms, and that they know each other's names)
3. She takes a couple days before returning with her answer in the ending where she agrees to try it, so it's not like they talked her into it right away

and the one I think most people gloss over
4. When she comes back with a positive response, she isn't necessarily going in there to get Eiffel Towered right off the bat
She could just be testing the waters
She returned, yes, but I'm sure once she's inside and the door's closed they'll get comfortable (Bucky was already going to bring her a drink) and start discussing boundaries, what's on the table and what's not, how far she's willing to go, what she wants out of all this, etc
For all we know, all that happened that day was some three way cuddling or even kissing, fully clothed. She might afterwards have gone on and off for weeks, slowly building up to more and more, before there was any genital contact whatsoever

As I go through these links I'm noticing the same basic message:

Casual sex CAN be caused by/reinforce low self esteem, anxiety, and feelings of depression (which I wouldn't put on the same level as your implied "mental health problems" phrasing suggests, but that's beside the point). However, further studies show a linked correlation, which becomes apparent when you examine motives and morals. The overall message was muddled, and led to early claims of being psychologically damaging, because there was no longitudinal study in these findings. In some of these studies, "casual sex" was defined as "sex with a stranger", while I personally would say the term is more about familiar comfort and shouldn't include one night stands.

Either way, there were some illuminating findings: In groups that entered into such relations with no cognitive dissonance, for autonomous and positive reasons, results are actually pro-health.
People who have a negative view of casual sex already (for reasons moral, religious, or personal) that then have casual sex ANYWAY feel worse about themselves, which is no surprise. This includes people who enter into it hoping to create a romantic relationship, to please someone else, or because they think it will help their self-esteem.
But people who go into it with a positive view have a positive experience. Autonomy is important here; autonomous motives for wanting casual sex (generally for pleasure, experience, or otherwise just wanting to in earnest) lead to an INCREASE in mental health.

So ultimately it looks like casual sex is only a result/cause of mental health issues if you have a bad view of it or are going in for damaged, impulsive, or desperate reasons.
If you enter into it as friendly, comfortable, and happy, it's not a sign of mental issues. If anything, you'll end up feeling even better.

If you're asking why I'm into A/V and music stuff, well, I guess it's just a life-long sense of really connecting to both music and lyrics for so many particular songs at such a deep level. Wanting to see what's 'under the hood'. Getting involved researching the life history of certain bands, writing wiki stuff about them and such.

I don't know when you need to sleep. So you're going to do a blind reading of the musician thing and then text comments / advice later tomorrow? Or were you interested in even trying part of it right now? It's right now two chapters, each like five pages I think. Nothing super compelling, but I'm going for something socio-political and like dramatic.
