Uberquest has flaws but one thing it does right is that Kylar and Joel are their own characters first before being gay. I found Joel really cute on the last strip.

I read the entire run of twokinds back in 2013 in 3 days. I found it was a very touching webcomic because even if it's cliche and all, you can see the guy was putting his heart on it.
This is especially visible from the beggining to the Basitin Island.
The Basitin island arc was cool, but it lost its "sincerity" idk why.
After that comes the 2nd story with the other group and the 2nd boat travel and... it was getting boring, and I reached the final update.

So 2kind is an okay comic, the art is gorgeous but the story and pacing is often subpar. What really impressionned me was the fact than the guy was willing to draw it for 10years, but like most teenage comics it didn't have a coherent planning so the plot goes all over the place.
