Each team has unique songs that fans sing when certain players are at bat, the team scores a run, etc. One of the Baystars' songs is literally the Ducktales moon theme with lyrics.
Also, it's a pretty accurate assessment of how their season is going.

Call me nitpicky, but I never really noticed how much darker Polly's fur was until now. Like, earlier photos from the first couple of months she was introduced, she had a slight brownish tint, until a few months later where her fur was given that caramel-like tone that she has today. Maybe they re-fabricated her suit a little by replacing the fur to match the color of her official artwork?

Who knows...like if I want to make like a replica suit or personal fursuit I'd sorta want to keep track of any of these traits.

Probably really hot. I imagine they try to design the helmet part to ease the burden of difficulty to breathe with those costumes on.

Also, I have to say, as an aspiring actor I have a lot of respect for mascots. I mean going out there and knowing basically everyone is going to be looking at you. The fact you have one permanent facial expression and you have to try and convey different emotions by using everything except the most emotive part of your body (the face). I guess the neat part though is that when you put that mask on it's easier to distance yourself from being judged by millions of people since they can't see your face.

So yeah, mascots are awesome.

The money isn't a huge issue, I man the price is obviously a ripoff but it's just a niche hobby so this kind of pricing is to be expected. But, I've never dealt with buying something they wont normally export through another company, and I have no clue what they charge. If it's more than 100 dollars I'm not going to do it.

To be quite honest, it just gets me that it doesn't exist anywhere available to us. That's what really bothers me about it and makes me want to get it to scan it so it's at least available if they're not going to sell it normally.

Update about buying the Buffalo Bell comic. So I sort of got an answer about whether or not they can ship it to me. Here's what they emailed me:

So from what I can gather they are saying they have no issue shipping it but they can't guarantee customs wont deny it. What do you guys think? Does Buffalo Bell look too young and would they block it? I think from the cover they might not even know it's adult material but I'd like a second opinion before sinking money into this. I figure they wouldn't even care since she's some kind of furry character anyway but I'll never understand the stupid hangups people have about drawn pictures when no one is getting hurt.

I just want to warn you now, my scanner isn't terrible but neither is it super great. When I scanned stuff before I thought it came out fine but people complained it was "low quality" so I'll do my best to get you something at least. Pic related is something I scanned as an example for you. Although, this was my old scanner and my new one is probably slightly better.

Yeah it's not cheap and I'm embarrassed to give the actual final price but I mean this is once in a blue moon kind of thing and I'll be okay to treat myself a little. I'm working 2 part time jobs and still living at home so I know I can afford it. Also, it'll be nice to have the comic out there for those interested.

Maybe in return if a Buffalo Bell fan that wanted this comic can do me a favor in return (though I wont hold the comic ransom) they can just do a Polly Polaris drawing as payment. I like Bell and all the mascots are great but I have a special place in my heart for that Ezorisu.

Also they use some kind of weird flash slideshow thing that doesn't let me right click Save As. I have to print screen and crop it in Photoshop. A lot of Japanese sites are very strange. Sometimes I love it because it's usually minimal and doesn't use a lot of wasteful bandwidth crap and reminds me of early 2000's kind of internet websites that run quickly and efficiently. But then sometimes things just don't work well.

In the last thread someone posted a link to a helpful script for an addon to save from instagram.
Usually in firefox I can get the image going to tools, then page info, then media, or using an addon called downthemall in its pictures and media tab

So guy attempting to acquire the Bufflao Bell doujinishi here. Where do you guys think is the best place to upload it so I can both avoid trouble and also have it up for you guys? I would think you could just dump it here, or zip it and put it on mega. I dont think you have anything to worry about as far as the japanese copyright holders somehow finding you out.

I doubt anyone who matters would even find out, it's even less likely they would try to do anything past getting it taken down, and even if they wanted to find you it's unlikely theyd be able to even do something as simple as finding your ip

Yeah I'll probably zip it and give you guys the link through Mega. I don't know, I'm just kind of paranoid when it comes to stuff like this but in my opinion if they're not going to make it available to ship without 3rd party mailing services they kind of have it coming. Also, something niche and probably not selling at high volume could easily become "lost" one day and there will be no backup of it on the internet or anything if it doesn't get scanned or saved in some way. I think that's inexcusable in this day and age. This is how I look at it.
