Danny's friendliness and charisma are super noice, and pairing him with anyone else is a great fit.
Barry's desire to actually play the video games and a good straight-man act makes him fit with a large majority of the others.
Ross's erratic nature combined with his love of chaos makes him a perfect match for Barry, and when paired with his wife its genuinely sweet to see them talk to each other.
Brian is smart as fuck. Like really smart. His commentary is always great, but he's even more of a striaghtman than Barry.

Reminds me of this show that used to come on called "Super Fun Night" that had a female character that was every lesbian stereotype crammed into one person. She had short hair, wore plaid, super feminist, tomboy personality, had no interest in dating men, deep masculine voice, went to conventions as Xena warrior princess, and random lesbians would hit on her with stupid things like "nice broad shoulders you got there" which I guess was the show's way of hinting she was gay. So in the final episode dubbed "Lesbi-honest" she finally comes out...to the surprise of no one. Even the characters thought it was obvious she was gay. Who wrote this garbage? It would have been more of a twist if it turned out she was just a really tomboyish straight girl, but I guess that would be what the tumblrites called "queerbaiting".
