what are your opinions on re-writing old chapters of a fic?
I mean it's good for new readers since it fixes any issue you may have had but somethings tend to get lost when you do that.
I read a fic where one character was portrayed as cold during a scene which greatly increased the impact. But when it was re-written, a few details were changed to keep her more in character which resulted in a less exciting plot point.
Are you re-writing for the sake of grammar issues, typos, etc or do you plan on retconning some stuff?

I've been editing out typos this whole time as Comicanon has pointed them out. I have not retconned anything yet, but going on for a year and a half + now, there were things I forgot along the way.

Biggest priority I have at the moment after finishing Kitsunegari's last chapter is going back to a character (Eva Belette) and giving her more to do.

Wait, what I'm finding myself lost in this conversation is the idea that you have to keep changing the chapter publication date.
Like, looking at one of my ongoings, the publication date is set to Aug last year, while the update date was March this year.
So when I posted a new chapter in March 2017, wouldn't it have been bumped briefly on the fic list on that specific date? Or are you implying I have to modify the publication date for the prior chapters to the same date as well?

The best why to see it is if you go to whatever fic you want to see. Go to the "Chapter Index" then click on the "Full-Page Index"that shows you when each chapter was updated. But individual and only if it was chosen by the creator. I forget where exactly it is, but it's a option during the entire editing phase of each chapter where you can then set it where you want it. But if you don't the date defaults to when the last one was posted. (Or to when the entire fic was first started. cant remember.)

So in your case. You only need to modify the post recent chapter that you are working on, to it's date that you want it as. The entire fic will then bump to then.

I liked it because of how fucking out their it was. Nick was a fucked up angsty dude. Judy was so fucking bland and nothing and and needed to get slapped across the face with what was happening to even understand it. That bunny OC that got involved with Judy was nothing also. It gave me many laughs at how over the top everything was.

That sequel cliffhanger was just the icing on the cake. It was so nothing and the author promptly forgot about it and tried doing something else that also never was finished.

My problem with the story is that there is nothing much that can connect it to zootopia.
No mention of the feral animal dynamics demonstrated in the movie, nothing involving nighthowlers or pred/prey relationship, no size-play or interspecies undertones.
Stories like these work for established characters but since you're using OCs, it's hard to give it a pass.

You could've easily written this into a green instead of a screenplay if you just knew a few tricks on how to write-in dialogue.

Using the first line as an example:
instead of:

That seems like it would get repetitive after a while if you aren't really good at mixing things up. I could do that for a few sentences, but not two pages of four different people doing stuff.

To be honest I find going Fuel's design choice (her having a different head shape) the most effective way. He does that constantly (his Skye fur is upward, her ears different than Nick, eye shape, mouth behavior, etc) which normally means the character are pretty different than normal concept version, but at least it manages to make them unique.
I think it's like drawing Jack with a more square/manly facial features (thicker nose bridge, jawline, forehead) and the hair tuft to make him more discernible than a judy with stripes.
