That might have something to do with the fact Amy's body hasn't been canonically exposed enough to get a clear idea how her body looks over the other girls you mentioned. Most fans insert the classic "Sally" style because Amy is a classic character so before Blaze, people used to think a Sally like body would make more sense.

Let me preface this by saying I don't mind how people draw Amy. I feel artists should draw the character however they want to. And I don't want to give the impression that I'm belittling artists that draw her a certain way and/or belittling the people that like tan belly. That's not what i'm trying to say.

But we do see Amy's belly in Sonic X. And we do know Amy's upper chest, side chest, and armpit areas are pink thanks to and her Riders outfits and her in-game models for Unleashed, Runners, and Black Knight. So it's not we don't have any official info to go off of. With what we know now, Amy's chest and stomach are most likely pink.

Again. I have no problem with how people want to draw Amy, but I don't buy the excuse that there's not enough info to go off of. The "Sally style" seems to be the reason pink belly Amy lewds are so rare for her. As other newer characters (who we also haven't seen their chests or stomachs) like the Pronghorn sisters, Cream, and even Vanilla get fur chests more consistently than Amy.

Nearly all black and red, basic edgy colors. They couldn't use tan colors because it in itself doesn't look "angst" enough, so to make his body not look complete black, they added fluff of fur on top. I didn't say pink belly was explicitly confirmed. Only that it was most likely true given what we know. So we seem to agree in that.

Yeah. I figured Sally's design influenced Amy's lewds, as (at the time) we had no other female to reference. And Sonic (the only other hedgehog at the time) had a tan belly. Tan chest Amy at the time was perfectly understandable. Although as time went on and more characters like Shadow and Silver were introduced, fur bellies started to become more common.

The reason the beach scene is used is because SEGA approved of it, otherwise it wouldn't have been included. This is why those scenes (and Amy's game models) are still used as evidence, as they are the strongest evidence for pink belly. They show Amy's upper chest, her side, and armpit areas are pink. Making pink belly more likely, though still not 100% confirmed.

The best arguments for tan belly are "An official game model doesn't show Amy's exposed belly. So it could be either tan or pink". Or personal preference. Which is fine. As I said earlier I like both.
