>have 3-5 different hobbies I'm into all at once
>sit at the computer screen, can't decide on what to do
>end up watching youtube videos and shitposting
>my weekend vanishes with nothing to show for it
I'm all too familiar with this particular feel, but sadly i can't give any advice on how to remedy it. Believe me, if i could stop being an unorganized, procrastinating fuck i'd gladly share the secret..

Try making a list of things you need to do the day before, (sometimes) works for me
Though its more intended for work tasks than recreational tasks
The fact that you can't be bothered doing them and instead want to waste time on the internet implies they aren't as fun as you might think they are
Fuck this hits too close to home

In my experience, focus is an allowance (or a muscle that gets fatigued). Being on the computer all the time and taking in all of the garbage information depletes your focus.
Here's the kicker. Being bored helps with focus and motivation. My summer job was to sit and stay off of my phone for shifts of 5 to 11 hours. When I got home, I was the most motivated to do the hobbies in years.
Short breaks just don't cut it. It has to be hours of stopping the non-stop information stream.
Literally me

It's true, just yesterday i found myself wasting my time looking up info on the stupidest shit and never felt bored because of it. Even when you're not doing something boring at the moment, if it's something you don't want to be doing, the mind naturally wants to escape into more creative endeavours...

What is depression?

Treat it as such.

Lots of people are like this. Depression might be a factor. But I think it's important not to attach shame to this. I have spent countless hours obsessively researching odd and seemingly pointless things. Yet it's made me grow as a person and everyone wants me on their team on trivia nights at the bar. I'm more or less ok with being a jack of all trades. I'd say first question before you feel bad or make changes is this: are you satisfied with how you spent your time? If not, what would really make you content? It could be crosswords or cat videos or editing Wikipedia articles about Asian porn stars or studying Sumerian. Doesn't really matter as long as you feel good about it. It's your time. Don't be afraid to embrace a passion or ashamed of just fucking around.
I like this thread. Makes me feel less alone.
I just want to feel a little more with others, don't leave me just yet.
Browse less, it simply takes your energy while not even making you happier in return, you do it because it's the easiest thing to do, even playing video games is more productive because that actually gives you energy because you're genuinly enjoying the experience, learn to make schedules (I reccommend using google calender) so you can fit multiple things in one day, and read the book "How to become a straight A student" as it has chapters on both making schedule's and avoiding procrastinating
You can do it

I disagree and assert that everything that takes your focus requires spending mental energy.

I've been doing this since I was 13. I'm 26 now.
I had the same problem you did OP. Long story short, it was undiagnosed ADD. Maybe get yourself checked out?
