I don't like them interjecting. Compassionate fatal doesn't do it for me, preds that willingly snuff the life out of prey but their creators try to portray as ethically sound don't sit right with me. It's got to be ethically ambiguous at the very least. Nature is cruel, but a sentient being making the conscious choice to digest another sentient being alive is not something that can be brushed off as a lifestyle choice. The one issue I have with the creators of the more brutal fatal vore OCs is when they try to paint their character in a sympathetic light but they have no regrets or apprehensions about essentially being a mass murderer.

It's like, which is a bigger display of power, being able to do something or being able to get something done without even doing anything yourself- sort of thing.
Not that I wouldn't like fatal or digestion, but at the same time just giving into it feels cheap, you'd get killed just because you wanted to get your dick(and the rest of yourself) wet.
Food is so commonplace that using person as one is meh as fuck, but if the whole thing has permanent repercussions for entirely other reasons it's far more interesting.

Gotta be fatal, 10 times out of 10, for a couple reasons.

First off is the obvious aspect of sheer domination. The pred, whether greedy, innocent, sadistic or regretful, is subjecting the prey to their stomach. The entire person- body, memories, relationships, years of growing and becoming the person they are now, and any future aspirations they may have, only to become a quick meal for a pred. The only remnant of that life is a bit of jiggle.

One of the things that bothers me about willing vore is that it implies that it can be a regular occurance. My single biggest pet peeve in vore is it being a know thing by society, or by anyone other than the pred. Part of the reason why vore being an unknown is so hot is because without realizing it, everyone is playing a game that only the pred knows about. It's entirely one-sided and unfair, which is incredibly hot.

The other big thing for me comes back to vore as an act of fictional utter domination. As soon as a prey becomes willing, it simply cannot be 100% domination anymore, which undermines the whole idea.

I like a mix of both. Depends on the situation, I guess. I like a good bit of fatal, for all the previously mentioned reasons. The fear, power, control aspects, not to mention if a qt giant girl intentionally swallows you, she propably doesn't intended to let you put.

But I like some non fatal every now and then, too. Like, accidental vore, where the vorer didn't mean to swallow the voree.

But the question of why will still remain ever-present nagging in the back of our minds, bringing our thoughts back to the subject. It's a mental perpetual motion machine, but I'm fine with it for now.

Some people seem to strongly disagree but I don't think vore would need to be inherently 'terrible' fetish. It very easily can be, but typically it only is when another fetish actually terrible in nature is linked with it, like snuff and humiliation commonly. It works a lot like domination-submission in this manner, you can choose what you do with it based on what you like. They are rather neutral fetishes until you flavor them one way or another.
And you can't really judge people just for their tastes one way or another, only for their attitudes towards the tastes of others. Judging people who enjoy sweet tastes just because you prefer bitterness would be just evil.

Indeed. I am all for dominating others but others fearing me, even if fear arouses them, makes me feel bad, so I aspire for my dominance to be as gentle as possible. My ideal is to make others realize my dominance makes them feel good and is beneficial for them, and accepting it by their own will. If I can fit this in vore, neutral it is.

These thoughts make me feel good but I just wonder about them, and I want to see what people wonder about them too.

Yeah, though I feel the comparison is a bit unfair when put like that. As in, if the act itself was possible, it wouldn't really be dangerous for the reasons typically depicted in vore. Basically just how, if someone or something capable of it wanted to eat you, getting crushed/squeezed, mauled and suffocating as they try to is what you really should be afraid of, not something like getting trapped in their belly and digesting to death because all you could do was struggle at that point. For purposes of soft vore let's ignore teeth and other means of getting torn up. But whatever, the point is of course valid.

Oh yes, willing prey wanting to submit to predator is one of my favorite vore tropes. But better yet, I like it the most when it's the predator that manages to convince prey to feel like that in the end. Probably because I can relate to the whole idea so well, myself always really wanting to get eaten yet I couldn't just do it out of wanting to keep myself comfortably safe.
So a scenario about predator catching a prey but instead of just eating them, they start convincing and reasoning with them on why they should allow the pred to eat them and not eating them before the prey really agrees to it and wants the pred to eat them as well - something like that just instantly hits home for me.
I love how there's tension that gets resolved in a pleasant and exciting manner and how both sides get exactly what they want in the end, one through ultimate submission and the other through ultimate domination. Just as much as I like pleasant fate for prey I relate/insert into, making pred happy is just incredibly fulfilling.

Most lovely. He's the guy that inspired me to do Kass vore audio; I started by adding a bit of voice to the Kass audio that he did.

More recently, he finally gave me a script to voice, and I think he's going to turn it into one of those "phone voice mail" things that he did earlier. At least, that's what the script was: pred leaving a teasing voice mail on the prey's phone, for after the prey reforms.

Also, you'll probably have to download a different character to fill the Oshare Bones slot, since none of the downloads for him have working animations for whatever reason.

Ok I made progress on my animation.
If people have forgotten I made keyframes to work on a swallowing process for the lugia bulge animation I did not long ago.

This would be the keyframes so far, in my next post I'll show what I did inbetween the frames so far.

Vore sites mostly consist of prey folks so I am sure you will get someone sooner. I would think it's a lot harder to find preds then it is to find prey.

Only real way to deal with f-shit is to approach interesting people yourself and pick. Also those who post publicly in the rooms are always shit in my experience. Also go for people with a smallish profile but that isn't empty. I've always found those with endless paragraphs and backstory on their profile either turn out to be shit or else take RPing waaay too seriously.

That's dope. For some reason I've always loved the idea of predators that remain mysterious to their prey and/or mess and toy with them in ways that are weird and unexpected, not just sadistic.
It's incredibly creepy and scary, but also peaks the curiosity equally as much. Stories about prey juggling their fear against their desire to know more which can eventually lead them to the predator in some way are my favorite.
