some of this is (highly) subjective, but:

I almost exclusively prefer canon characters anyway.
I prefer my stories heavier on plot and structure.
The pack street characters and their motivations never grabbed me.
I find first person present tense POV jarring compared to third person past tense.

I don't dislike pack street specifically because it's popular. But its popularity can sometimes make it difficult to navigate and consume thread content. Severe filters means I can ignore it, but other stuff I am interested is often caught up with them.

And if I might be less charitable: the characters and remaining plot have been reduced to annoying memes, probably because of the hiatus.

I would much rather read what characters are doing and thinking from a more detached perspective, than listen to them tell me what they're thinking and doing.

It makes it easier for me to build and hold a sense of scene in my head - which is what reading is about, right?

Unreliable narrator is a strength of first person POV, no doubt. But many if not all of the same narrative twists and speed bumps can be brought across through, say, third person. It's just a different style of writing and my tolerance for how well each is executed varies.

Definitely subjective, though. It can't be held up as straight criticism, just as one reason I personally don't find the story or its characters engaging.

Having a first person perspective allows you as a reader to fall into the same (often incorrect/biased) assumptions as the main character in real time. So when those assumptions are later shattered, the reader feels what the character feels, and it can lead to a much greater understanding of what they are going through. Iv'e never seen a 3rd person story emulate that.

I think people are pointing out more the fact that SGaR has done like 90% of the drawing in their sketch. Seriously, if this is all like that image WW has simply drawn over the lines (sometimes worsening them imho) and added a couple of shadows.
No preparatory sketch, no anatomy study, not even the linework over the sketch. It's all done by SGaR.

The way that I look at is this. Sunderance was an originally just a joint work were Kulkum did the fanfic and Wyvern did the comic and they worked together during that. As time went one more people either want to work with them on it. Or they don't have the time to keep always working on it themselves.

I remember the beginnings of the threads, and Jack was tossed around as a Big Bad or a competitor to Judy. A lot of people didn't touch him for anything serious because people couldn't figure out how "superspy Jack Savage" didn't fuck with Judy's accomplishment at being the first bunny cop. People still made bits of fan art.
Then the cuckening happened, and people hated Jack so much they trashed him any chance they got because he symbolized cucking. Reply used to use him as an avatar who would constantly try to cuck everyone.
Then because people still liked the design and because Reply's Jack was pretty endearing, and probably because they felt bad at seeing a character beaten down so hard, they made stuff with him that was more playful to the character.

Not the norm, they just started asking for assistance recently (the lastest 3 or 2 chapters) because they are both busy and can't work as much as they would like to. Artists aren't regular, it's whenever someone has the time to show some support towards the project and they credit them when they do. It's similiar what NicolasWildes did with Zistopia only WW put some extra work into it to make the art consistent even when he can't do the whole page design from scratch.
