Up until the end of (book one of) the fic, Judy was the master and Nick the thrall, so Judy's side of things is definitely the more important. But as for Nick, early on he would have jumped at an opportunity to sleep with his 'master' to try to avoid the potential terrible fates, and after the dynamic between them stabilized he's interested but not so much that he'd threaten the status quo to pursue it. Either way, he's entirely reactive - though he's a natural flirt.

As for as a full member of the clan... well, this is still a Nick that's a whole lot less outgoing than canon Nick, since he lived most of his life on the bottom of the social hierarchy, so he'd be careful in pushing how far his new status can take him and probably still pretty reactive. If he was going to be spending the winter in the burrows surrounded by incredibly bored eligible bunny bachelorettes, it could be anyone's game. But he's going to be spending his winter traipsing across the countryside, in extremely close proximity to Judy, so that's where the slow burn's definitely going to start.

With the card drawing 'hierarchy' behind us, I am continuing on.
I still think of myself as a beginner, I've only written a dozen stories, mainly comfy.
I've done a few arts of no particular note so, stepping outside the current guidelines, I've decided to 'card' myself and give myself an appropriate level.

It happens on every "appreciation for ccs" thing, happened with party, happened with cameos in some works, happened with famished list, happened with that list of "possible zoosonas to make stories of", happened with Wynn list of CCs, happens even with TT when people requested some people be taken off of "spotlight contribution" in favor of someone else.

I personally don't mind it, but people are justified be bummed because they fee feel left out and whatnot. hell, i came to thread this morning to get in touch with NeoTT to offer some help gathering TT content, after talking a bit about it with HC last night.

starting next saturday i'll have internet of my own and can actually come here every day, so i want to give back and contribute to the thread health.

also Fuel if you're here, you deserve amends as well. my understanding of the project is that noone is more important than anyone, and noone gets shafted because literally anyone can still draw any card with any CC they want, but clearly some people have really unfortunately skewed concepts of "X artist is more important than X other artist".
personally though, you've got my apology for all this bullshit that happened. i had thought i'd taken enough steps to ensure i wasn't shafting anyone that this very thing would never have happened, but clearly i underestimated the drama vultures.
i'm asking moped to move my card out of the main suits, regardless, because you sure as hell don't deserve to feel the way it reads like you did last night. best way to fight stirring is just be comfy and friendly as much as i can be here. mea culpa, fellow CCs.

To avoid drama, Im going to put a request to all CCs who might be thinking of making a card.
Please think of the reaction the threads will have before you make a card on request of someone who wasn't included on the list.
The idea behind this card thing that everyone latched onto (even though it wasn't Pho's intention, even though its not "right") is that this is an opportunity to do something cool for people who are distinctly part of thread culture and community, whether that's for being staples of the thread and putting in a shit ton of effort like ASig and Comic, having a unique way of contributing like Patch or Gud or Tegaki or Reply or Henrietta, or made works we consider a foundation like Weaver or Inky or Zhan or Otterly or SmugBeverage.
Swat hasn't contributed as much, hasn't had a chance to show her giant project yet, and got this card to be made of her off-thread. That raises quills when people here, because again, the idea was "wouldn't it be cool to make this person's day" and not "heres an idea for someone to commission their Zoosona for".
If someone not on the list says "hey make me a card", politely tell them you're working on one of the other cards first and then do it. I'm not saying this is THE RIGHT WAY or THE WAY ITS SUPPOSED TO BE, I'm saying if someone the thread loves doesn't get a card before some Discorder who hasn't made a TT contribution in a year and yet clocks 12 hours a day talking in #vidya then you will rustle feathers.
