Violet has had some weird phases in the fandom. First she was a cold sociopath, despite that being almost the complete opposite of what we saw in the comic with her. Then she was used as the "angel who picks up Nick after Judy cheats on him" for a short while. After that it went back and forth between pairing her up with Nick because "they are cute" and pairing them up "to cuck Judy".

Now she is mostly paired up with Rinehart. Toga probably has one of the best, if not the best in my opinion, characterization of Violet in the fandom; smart, caring, but still overbearing, can make some rash choices, and will be blunt and in someone's face when she doesn't agree with them.
