Monk or Berserker. Something fast and aggressive. She's good with her claws but less so with weapons and even worse with ranged weapons.

This thread breaks the chain, but by searching desuarchive I found this thread, which seems to be the earliest OC drawthread with a set of rules:

The rule actually changed wording sometime around late June of this year (used to be "Keep canon or franchise characters to the main drawthread"), because someone tried to make a "canon OC" drawthread and for a time the rule said to keep those OCs to that thread. When that thread died the wording had to be changed to a general rule again. You could argue the previous version of the rule was a bit more flexible in its wording, but I mean, if those OCs weren't being rejected why would someone have made a "Canon OC" thread in the first place?
In summary, no, that rule has probably been there since the very start.
Personal opinion though: I'd probably be fine with letting franchise-based OCs in if I didn't know this thread would probably get flooded by people like "Amputee Zapdos". I think there's a certain level of originality that makes it more okay, but it's probably just best in the end to go all the way and really make your OC your own thing.

Requesting my idea for a thicc cow adventurer to be drawn. She's very curvy while also being toned in her muscles, she does have some pretty bimbo looking lips which she forgets exactly how they got like that, and most of all her armor is more skimpy then most adventurers.
Now, one time adventuring she had gotten cursed by some magical charm she had found, causing her to become lustful and aroused by the slightest things. It was also what made her lips grow out so ditz like.
Hopefully she gets drawn!

One of the major characters in my canon is a chef-witch who made several of my characters. Obviously, each would be food themed or at least named after food. So, we have Ghoulash, the chimera made from a bunch of spare parts, Candy Floss, the overworked aphid secretary made of cotton candy, etc.
The canned gal was Maple Syrup, a mouse-slimegal made of, you guessed it, syrup. She would be the smallest of the Chef's creations, but militaristic and surprisingly powerful. Especially with the ability to fight her opponents from the inside.

I thought so too, but I couldn't really think of any ways to distinguish her from other slime chars other than her material. Hence, I canned her for the time being.
Other ideas included Salad, a plant-based char who shapeshifted into various forms called "dressings" (ranch, thousand island, etc), Sorbet, a frosty gal who could melt and reform in the heat, and others.
