Last week' strips.
This week's strips so far.
Newest Tale of Jasper Gold page.
Crit Anon's comic.

>Gold brick and a license to kill
Now I need to see Heather in a Bond outfit and with a golden brick.
I wondered what had happened to this thread. I guess this week isn't exactly gripping.
>>11294536
Hoping linking a 404'd thread works for anyone with 4chanX...
>The way this scene is set is very strange. [... ] The unexplained typewriter suggests maybe we'll see these who seemingly separate scenes come together by an inclusion that would be connected to both.
>I really think Denise would be stronger than Dottie here because she is a lawyer similar to him and poised to bring the hammer down on Heather as she was so eager to defend the thugs at the start of the arc. It would also allow Shortwolf to call out her actions as a lawyer rather than a vague backhand like what Dottie mentioned, and hopefully paint more context on this legal proceeding. I said this earlier but the prosecutor could argue the wolf in the store was killed there by Heather purposefully too which graduates a single murder charge into two.
That's a good point, this could be Denise coming up. On the other hand, I'd expect to see Denise interviewing Glasses, not some new random wolf.
I do think there's a chance that Dottie will encounter Denise again trying to push her to come over to the dark side now that she's gone solo, unless that plot thread has been totally abandoned. I think she makes a good way for Dottie to measure herself, telling herself "I am not Denise", though Aaron seems to be doing his best to remove any moral or ethical grounding Dottie may have had.
>Dottie said Denise was sowing division in the community so her MO is very obvious. Hell her being prosecutor also removed the chip of 'maintaining civic stability' Shortwolf has as this would publically show the wolves as a pig helping their cause in an irony like a wolf defending a wolf-murdering horse.
Yes, I think the "wolf on the "pig" side and pig on the wolf side" thing is almost certainly on the horizon.
>>11299884
Sometimes I wonder if Aaron injects these things into the comic with the intent to provoke specific fan art.
I should probably repost this for anyone who hasn't seen it.
>>11299884
Ha, sounds like a good excuse to draw her again.
>>11300523
I guess I better post the e-mail I got today.
> We're doing okay so far. Selina's restaurant suffered some flooding and the staff managed to clean it up and reopen just in time for the mayor to declare a citywide midnight to 5AM curfew.. which puts Selina out of work for the duration (she works graveyard shift). It's a real mess.. I'm going to be auctioning original strips on the Endtown Auction Block starting this week to close the financial gap.
>>11300364
>Sometimes I wonder if Aaron injects these things into the comic with the intent to provoke specific fan art.
I always wonder how much he knows about the content on /co/ and /trash/ but I don't really want to know how much of my stuff he's seen.
>>11300893
Hope I didn't steal any thunder.
>>11302166
>I always wonder how much he knows about the content on /co/ and /trash/ but I don't really want to know how much of my stuff he's seen.
You guys doxed and badmouth him so he and Selina avoid 4chan threads about Endtown.
>>11302448
One person posted one publicly Google-able thing that made sense of something that didn't make much sense without it, and one person kept harping about Aaron's fat fetish a bit too much.
In a thread that usually gets around 20 IPs, there's no "you guys" there, unless you're also lumping general criticism of Aaron's writing and behaviour under "badmouthing".
>>11302715
>One person posted one publicly Google-able thing that made sense of something
Irrational hysteria to justify your waifu-faggotry butthurt. Holly was always going to be written out of the story, period. Aaron threw the readers a bone by not killing her off as planned. Every step of the way readers were given clues and hints as to Holly's unstable mental state; this wasn't a sudden change of story. Bringing up Aaron's divorce proved nothing, you oily manbabies just couldn't deal with losing your waifu.
>>11302828
Oh, hey, Howell.
Anger's keeping you nice and warm, I see.
>>11302828
The only person that mentions Holly all the time is you, KC. Give it a rest.
>>11303242
Kirbeefags can't wrap their heads around people caring about the comic beyond their waifu. If people don't like something it MUST be because Holly is not in the comic anymore.
>>11302828
Holly having issues and/or dying were always hinted at but Aaron never suggested that he felt even the least amount of disdain for her until Kirbee became the Selina to Holly's Beth. After that he suddenly got the urge to destroy everything about Holly while bending the story for Kirbee's sake.
>>11303806
I would make the distinction that there's a difference between Kirbeefags and Kirbeefans; for one thing, the Kirbeefans don't seem to have appreciated the ending either for reasons of writing and characterisation and so on.
Howell is definitely the former, though.
>>11304551
This. I like Kirbee but I am very displeased with what Aaron did for her. I also don't like her being made a perfect waifu that can do no wrong.
Top comment on the strip right now (which really just means it's got the most responses, but it still puts it right underneath the strip for every reader to see).
>>11306120
Has anyone told them that Aaron decided that "vision" was more important than anything over 8 months ago?
>>11302166
Nah, still grinding out Shining Sky stuff, I did rough sketch a pose of that, I might iron it out later.
>>11306795
Neat. Heather could always use some love and a little less suffering.
>>11314168
Maybe (post ship arc) the 6 boyfriends Holly had couldn't handle the kinky shit she was into. You missed out Wally.
>>11314895
>Tfw Holly was a high mileage slut
>>11315027
Doc mentioned how many boyfriends, but he never mentioned how many girlfriends she had.
>>11315124
that's a good point...
>>11315314
Kirbee and Holly would have been way more interesting than Kirbee and Wally.
>>11315472
What are the chances of Holly, Kirbee and Waly getting into a threesome, if she had survived.
>>11314895
>>11314168
I wonder if these were commissioned by Suule. He's a huge latexfag.
>>11315743
I don't think he's the only latexfag
>>11315788
Strangely both pictures fit the aesthetic of his own pictures.
>>11315816
Should have gone with this one.
>>11315738
Wally's too boring for a three some.
>>11315472
Update your comic, Morbi.
>>11316296
I seriously want to see these characters fucking really badly, doing really dirty things.
>>11317078
If you go through the boorus there's a few.
>>11317339
I haven't seen a single pic of Holly sucking dick, she must look adorable worshiping cock..
>>11317339
>>11317422
Can't find any either. Maybe the sharp rodent teeth make artists avoid that. Honestly, I was expecting something from Akunim.
>>11317719
I seriously would have expected her to get more lewds than she ever got, not that she didn't get a some, but there's little variety, specially with how cute she is... size difference, shit like that...
>>11317759
There's a lot of domme stuff with her but I honestly expected the opposite with her wanting Wally to chase her and catch her.
>>11317798
>wanting Wally to chase her and catch her.
Yup, it kinda feels opposite to her character, she strikes me more as the person who would love to just get grabbed and fucked by force...
>>11317839
Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if instead of making love, they canonically fucked their brains out that night.. I can perfectly see Wally buttfucking her hard while janking her tail, and Holly biting a pillow out of pain.
>>11317839
She seems to be very assertive on the outside but she wants to be submissive to the one she loves.
>>11317913
>one she loves.
The dick that manages to catch her first
I would love to see Flask forcing Holly and Wally to fuck topside, watching while she touches herself. That bitch was crazy.
>>11318940
I want a Linda to give me an assjob
>>11318089
>Don't stick you dick in crazy.
>Don't stick you dick in crazy.
>Don't stick you dick in crazy.
>DON'T STICK YOUR DICK IN CRAZY.
Update.
>>11322433
Hopefully this means the trial sequence will be short.
Heather looks like she can only see a future full of bad memories. She also looks differently drawn, though I'm not sure quite how.
>>11322467
She seems differently drawn every time we see her.
>>11322488
I have gotten that impression. Portia changed too, and Walt spent some time around the first part of the arc looking oddly like Wally.
>>11322433
She's probably been pumping iron and dreaming about all the brick laying she'll do once she gets out.
>>11322467
It looks like she was drawn with less chin than the last time we saw her in profile.
>>11322613
Also her white now extends up her muzzle further and goes fully back behind her jaw, making her jaw look larger.
Should I bother making a /co/ thread? A janitor deletes the link every time now and the last one got only one reply (it was made pretty late, though).
>>11322758
All you seem to get even if it does stay up lately is shitposting, a desultory smattering of barely-interested plot discussion that's now hamstrung by a huge "quiet period" where none of the /co/-only diehards got a chance to discuss the plot, and most recently a bunch of weirdly prudish whining about the porn.
>>11322803
>most recently a bunch of weirdly prudish whining about the porn
That's always been a thing, for some reason.
>>11323008
Yeah, but it's back now and even more whiny and prudish. They shut up for a while, there.
This week was boring as hell.
I don't suppose Kazen has any new stuff to show off?
Crit Anon?
>>11324309
Oh yeah, if folks want an early Shining Sky QA I can do that. I didn't want to step in during the hurricane news and try to make things about me.
>>11324671
>I didn't want to step in during the hurricane news and try to make things about me.
Fair enough.
>>11324309
>This week was boring as hell.
I guess that's all that can really be said. At least the plot advanced somewhat, even if it wasn't exciting to see.
>>11324309
Rough scene of the male and female leads Jack and Shalara on hoverbike.
>>11324671
>I didn't want to step in during the hurricane news and try to make things about me.
I don't think you'd be taking away anything if you posted your stuff. Besides, we don't really have a constant update on Aaron but know he's safe.
Mind if I ask what is the general themeing of the wildlife on Netra? (Like is more insect like, or do they look almost prehistoric or is it all over the place, ect...) And were any other animals or animal hybrids (besides the Rodani) brought over from earth?
>>11325182
Neat
>>11325412
Original Netran wildlife has a subterranean theme, most animals on the surface are descended from Earth ones in some manner. Such as massive insectoids called Decapedes, with roughly the intelligence of dogs that cultivate gardens.
>>11325549
That's neat.
>>11325412
A follow-up to that scene.
>>11325412
An example of a native Netran animal, a Tunnel Worm. These're omnivorous burrowing creatures that secrete a bio luminous slime which a lot of native fungoids feed on. If any of you have ever seen Lexx, I imagine they're a little similar to Cluster Lizards.
>>11325781
A variant/relative of the Tunnel Worm, or possibly a better variation. Depends on if I like both of them later on.
>>11324309
Also new art of this gal.
>>11322803
>a bunch of weirdly prudish whining about the porn.
>>11326749
She's really cute!
>>11326749
Will the Islanders be showing up in the story at all?
>>11330338
Later on, they and other Netran breeds are more known about in the Union, although their exotic nature has lately lead to them being sought after by trafficking/love slave networks.
>>11325182
>>11325717
This is cool. Just out of curiosity... what kind of sound does this thing make?
>>11325549
>Such as massive insectoids called Decapedes, with roughly the intelligence of dogs that cultivate gardens.
Intentionally engineered that way? Terraforming tool?
>>11325781
>>11326045
Creepy beasties! A little Dune-inspired, too?
>>11326749
>>11330590
She's pretty. Are those markings natural, or paint?
>>11330680
>Sound
A loud, mechanical whine like a jet engine running high.
>Decapedes
Yup, they're a bit like Nausicaa's Ohmu, easily misinterpreted as large rampaging monsters.
>Dune
Yup, the Lynch movie was one of my first exposures to sci-fi.
>Markings
Natural, it's meant to be akin to an orca's.
>>11330841
Although I first got the idea for Decapedes from one of the bosses in Crystalis, The ligher, upper sketches in that piece betray that a bit more. There also exist smaller, more traditionally bug-like, expansive creatures called Octopedes, which travel in packs. These're predatory/opportunistic scavengers that leave trails of the picked bones of the unwary, and the biochemically corroded metal of their gear in their wake.
>>11331022
Do cities have to be constructed specifically to keep things like these out?
>>11331022
>the biochemically corroded metal of their gear in their wake.
Is it just to get to get past the armor and into the juicy center or do they eat part of the armor too and possibly add the metal to their own shell kind of like the scaly-foot gastropod?
>>11331474
Yup, all major cities have walls/barriers around them, especially in the Protectorate in the face of Reaver raids over the years. They vary in complexity ranging from a wall with watch towers, to vast doors that open only for airborne vessels, as in https://desuarchive.org/trash/thread/11137430/#q11214883
>>11331554
I could see them doing that, actually, with the older/bigger ones leading packs.
So, is there any backstory to this pic that Suule did? I take it's in the Shining Sky universe.
>>11331786
Ah, yes! That was part of an art trade we had. You can imagine what my end was of, ha. Anyway, it's not canon, but the idea was Shalara stumbled on an Old One slave drone facility and got partially converted.
>>11331655
>I could see them doing that, actually, with the older/bigger ones leading packs.
Add a tendency to accidentally store the more valuable/less corroding metals in their digestive tracts or nesting areas and you've got yourself an RPG monster.
So, is there any earth-originating life that's barely changed at all? Did Rodani and Netrans inherit human pets, for instance?
>>11332214
Humans (referred to commonly by both races as Old Ones) aren't present on Netra,
But 20,000 are in cryo inside Netra's giant moon Maenon
but are referred to in a legendary sense, with a different attitude depending on the culture.
Netrans worship humans most commonly, the more devout considering themselves (rightly) to be their inheritors.
Rodani often hold a respectful fear of them, depicting us as paradoxical forces of creation and destruction for imperceptible reasons. Most Rodani consider using ancient human technology a necessary evil.
A Rodani legend (which is inspired by the beginning scene of Zardoz) depicts a surviving Old One as an almighty deity of knowledge who had a tribe of chosen Rodani, upon whom it bestowed the knowledge of creating gunpowder so that they could dominate all others. The twist of this story is that the Old One's goal was entirely to cause the Rodani to wipe themselves out in war. It is possibly based upon an AI that was discovered by primitive Rodani.
>>11332496
That's pretty cool. The AI thing would make for a neat "historical text" in the style of a comic.
I was really just asking if pet cats and dogs were still a thing, or if you might see recognisable Terran birds in the wild, though.
>>11332576
Sorry, I kindof felt I needed to go on a tangent why they aren't an active element in the setting, at least yet. As far as pets go, you do have iguana-like lizards that I still need to draw, which are common pets among Reavers. In the rest of civilization, that's something I'm still considering, actually.
>>11332657
No, that's fine, it's interesting info anyway!
Lizards, huh? Keep us updated on what you come up with!
>>11326749
>>11330590
I hope you don't mind my doodles.
The Islander are pretty cute. Do they have a name besides Islanders and do they have different marking or is this a redesign of the old ones?
Also I drew Shalara smoking without thinking about it. Alcohol and snorting Pael's voice exist but does smoking exist (obviously not tobacco, but other substances or is this lost to the ages?)
>>11333937
Holy shit, thank you so much PA!
So far that's what they're currently called, but they will have a name for themselves. I came up with them during my second trip to Hawaii (unsurprisingly) and it will be interesting designing their habitats, I envisioned them living out amphibious lives in boathouses, commonly fishing/farming other foodstuffs from coral-like structures.
There are other plants that're smoked, I haven't named any yet, but that is still a thing, so it's alright. She'd have picked it up from Jack anyway.
>>11331554
>add the metal to their own shell
Some species of scorpion do this, too. Especially at the tips of their claws & stinger.
Update is gonna take a while again, I spent most of the day trying to sleep off this cold I picked up to no avail, it's really kicking my ass. Here's a quick doodle in the interim.
Not much change on the Aaron/Selina front, according to her Twitter.
>>11334759
That is ridiculously cute. Poor little capybara.
Get well soon, CA!
Here's some planning on a Heather painting
(no guarantees heather is bitch to draw and I might go with another plant name character)
>>11334204
I'm glad you like it. I've been hesitating on making fan art, but you have really solid concepts and some fun stuff to draw.
>>11334759
Dottie looks way cuter than we've seen her in a while, thanks for that. I'm sure everyone has told you this but drink plenty of fluids and get a lot of rest. Hope you get well soon.
>>11334759
Get well soon.
>>11335157
>I might go with another plant name character
Are there any others besides Holly?
>>11335157
I love fan art, honestly. Seeing how others interpret my ideas is really informative, actually. It lets me know what parts of what I design resonate the most with other artists.
Twitter trawl time. Random fanart (I think this is the first piece of outside fanart I've seen for this arc).
And it would seem Aaron asked the Webcomics Review (https://thewebcomicsreview.tumblr.com/) guy to review Endtown a while back but he's been putting it off. And not just putting it off, but "dot-dot-dot-dot putting that off", which I'm reading as "reluctant to do it".
I note that it looks like this guy has a habit of being pretty harsh on his review subjects when warranted.
>>11341803
>>11341796
>shortstack wolf gilf
>>11341803
I remember when he used to write for shitty webcomics. He's pretty pretty good. I wonder what he's got to say.
>>11345233
That should've been the last thing we saw before going back to Endtown.
>>11345655
This, but replace the mouse with Kirbee.
Oh wait...
>>11345896
I know what you tried to do.
>>11345896
>This, but replace the mouse with Kirbee.
Say no more, senpai.
t. Aaron
>>11345233
Feels weirdly like false advertising nowadays...
>>11350702
It's been quiet for too long now.
>>11357798
Ain't that the truth.
Any bets on what Heather's going to do after she gets out of jail? Murder some wolves, kill herself, live a life of suffering, or sloppy make out session with wolf bitch as an apology for attacking her earlier?
>>11359270
>sloppy make out session with wolf bitch
I'm strangely okay with this.
>>11359270
With her current state of mind it's really hard to tell.
>sloppy make out session with wolf bitch
However, this is something I'm hoping for, no matter how little chance there is. Come on Aaron, throw us a bone!
>>11342246
Wait...
That's a girl? I thought it was an old man.
>>11360833
I'm pretty sure it's a dude.
>>11360833
A really hot grandpa..
Fenrick giving Dottie the knot when?
>>11365432
That's small time. We need Dottie being double teamed by Fenrick and Denise for exclusive access of the court proceedings.
>>11367493
Kazen's Jim is cute.
>>11367550
I was dabbling in drawing him as a Doom Marine after the Mana portraits.
>>11368026
do it!, We could seriously use more Jim, I miss him very much...
>>11340873
Sorry for the late reply but that's awesome and I hope I can make good stuff for you. I take a lot of liberties with other peoples characters (see Allie and Heather) so take what I do with a grain of salt.
>>11369777
nice digits
>>11369777
Awesome, nice trips, and thanks! I'd only comment that the green is a little saturated.
Alternitive file names include:
>I'm almost certain this has been done at least 10 times before
>Holly, stop. This is how cults get started.
and
>That wrench will come in handy when you have to fix your computer husband.
>>11369816
Nothing like God digits to say I'll make stuff that doesn't make sense because I want to.
>>11370234
Thanks. I just used sap green on the skin instead of a bit of mixing and assumed it would be lighter when it dried. The hair's also the wrong color and I have to work on where highlights fall.
(Also does anyone have a guide for scanning in watercolor? 90% of what I find just says fix it in Photoshop. I want to be lazy and just scan it in.)
Thank you for the ref. Are these the canon colors for Shalara and Jack?
>>11370766
>Nothing like God digits to say I'll make stuff that doesn't make sense because I want to.
Right on, cool digits, Even better Holly!
>>11370766
Yup!
>>11360833
(¬_¬)
>>11370810
Thanks. There's a lot of messed up shit, at least he had the decency to put the majority in Australia and in the sea.
>>11371018
Awesome. I love references, especially when they're easy to get.Thank you.
>>11371974
>mfw no platypus waifu
Cute stuff as always, PA!
>>11359270
I can't really picture any positive resolution for Heather apart from finding that her friend wasn't killed/eaten. And even that has an undertone of "you were wrong about events and people and it led you into an escalation that ruined your life".
>>11370766
She looks pretty cute in that outfit.
>>11371974
I like her. I wonder how often she gets misidentified as a duck when seen only from the waist up?
>>11322433
Having laid out his intent for this trial and reassured Heather (and, I get the impression, himself) about the outcome, I'm willing to bet some curve ball will come along to partially or entirely pervert his plans for the trial. It's possible that it might even prevent the occurrence of it (dare we hope?), but the trial seems like a thing the conspirators (and therefore the plot) would want to occur, so I doubt it.
I wonder if someone is going to assassinate him?
If the idea is to sew social division with the wolves as a scapegoat, Heather needs to be a focus as The Hero/Victim/Perpetrator, the wolves need to be a focus as The Bad People, and Denise (assuming she's in this) needs to be there as, say, the Brave and Kind Pig Charitably Defending the Nasty/Uncivilised/Misguided Wolves.
The wolf lawyer may mess with that narrative and might be removed by hostile action (possibly by goading other wolves to remove him as a traitor, which would itself play into the anti-wolf narrative) once that becomes apparent to the people running the show.
Continuing with the pin-up theme I've done earlier.
>>11372008
>>11372054
I'll see what I can do with the platypus. She needs a name other than Terry, or Terri, or Petey, or Teri. I'm creatively bankrupt so do you guys have any good names for a monotremes with an identity crisis?
>>11373395
I don't think anything bad will happen to Fenrick, but I feel like the charred bones of the wolf will play a role in the trial, because nothing good can happen to Heather.
>>11373648
Do you think they'll try and claim the burned corpse as evidence of an earlier, serial-killer-style murder and say Heather set fire to her own shop to try and gain sympathy and cover things up? I suspect what Heather said to Dottie is going to be used as evidence of intent, if that happens. Hopefully from a newspaper article and not from Dottie herself.
If that all came up, would Fenrick be tempted to let it fly, since his motive seems to be to keep the heat off of wolves and nearly everyone in Endtown seems to be either a jerk or an idiot on some level?
Fenrick doesn't seem to be thinking in terms of that sort of possibility, so he might be blindsided by this. I wonder how widely known the existence of the wolf corpse is - just the fire department, the police, and rumours among the wolves? The other side might be keeping it in reserve as a surprise.
I still wonder if it's significant that the wolf in the laundry would most likely have passed out from the chemical fumes before he could light the match, or if that's just another... narrative artefact.
>>11373648
I'm trying to enjoy the pic but my autism can't ignore how Heather most certainly had a drying machine. Still pretty neat, though. I like how you used one of those cliche pinup faces.
>>11373648
>Upskirt panties
Unf... that's totally my fetish
Looks like that typewriter did belong to the wolf.
The tone of that advert sounds... off.
>Both wolves and Dottie taped their stuff over two different missing pig posters
Subtle....
So... do they actually have something important to say (something nobody's been party to or willing to listen about, the wolf equivalent of the pig calls), or is this reasonably pleasant-looking wolf lady the wolf equivalent of Jackrabbit? Giving Dottie important information that starts her on a new path of inquiry... or are they just going to muscle in and use her as a propaganda tool?
In before these end up as competing predator-biased and prey-biased newspapers in an attempt by Aaron to send up the usual real-world media divisions.
>>11376013
>Three little (named, live) pigs visible so far (Portia, Heather's friend, Denise)
>Now we have a wolf who looks like a grandma
I'm sensing a potential fairy tale reference, maybe a mixed one, but who are Red Riding Hood and The Woodcutter?
Also... is that a gas element in the lamp?
Well, I guess they'd have more than enough methane...

Auction is up, if anyone wants to bid.
Mostly just line art for strips, but one of the items is an alternate dream sequence where Wally would have dreamed of shooting Holly in place of the Teacher.
>Double-sided original. 3/13/12 is the unpublished version of Wally’s “Teacher Dream” in which the teacher he shoots is revealed to be Holly. I drew this and then decided it was too blunt and ran with the “Blood” version (https://imgur.com/Y3emXt6) instead.
Someone tell him he's got the one where Lyn blows up listed twice, or possibly a mixture of the wrong description for that one (the first one) and the wrong picture.
>>11376442
>Up for auction this week is this double-sided original from Endtown‘s “Shadows and Stains” arc, aka “Holly’s Endless Flashback”.
>"Holly's Endless Flashback"
>TFW he acknowledges it went on too long
>>11373648
In regards to your platypus character: Patricia the Platy(pus) seems like the most obvious route for conspicuous naming since "Patty" is a common nickname derivative.
For the comic I also think the arson wolf will come around to throw reasonable doubt over Heather's insanity plea. We spent precious screentime establishing the wolf died inside the shop, which narratively means that will be important later on. In an inevitable trial the existence of that corpse brings about the questions of whether she was in stages of a wolf murder spree or if this was an isolated attempt.
Even ignoring arsonwolf it still doesn't look good forensically; she did attack the wolf from behind and his corpse would reflect that in damage to the skull. Even if she went to town on his front after the first bricking the back wound would stick out conspicuously if it was presumed a full frontal assault. That alone obliterates any pretense of defense.

I think the first auction post is supposed to be for these:

>In before these end up as competing predator-biased and prey-biased newspapers in an attempt by Aaron to send up the usual real-world media divisions.
I think the message for this arc, or part of it, is probably going to be another take on past VS future. They keep trying to recreate the old world so they can pretend the apocalypse never happened - town, politics, and now maybe media. The takeaway will probably be to look to the future instead of clinging to the past (plus the inevitable evils-of-tribalism angle).
(If true, nobody tell Aaron Fallout New Vegas already covered this topic in a post-apocalyptic setting.)

I wonder how forensic things are going to get. Doc seems to be the closest thing to a forensic scientist in Endtown, or at least he's been playing the role. If he is in on it, then with a properly-crafted line of false reasoning he could inject anything he wanted into the narrative and there might be nobody who could counter-argue him.
Another thing: if the wolf did pass out before being able to properly start the fire, and they can figure that out, that might be used to claim Heather killed him.
>>11376442
Huh. I think the discarded version works much better.
Sometimes I think Aaron tries too hard to be subtle or implicit with those things. And he often has the opposite problem with his socio-politics.

That's one hot grandma if she's really that old. Someone should ask Aaron her age and name (just in case it never gets mentioned like many other wolves). Also, where are they getting the paper from?

I wonder what Maude has planned.

Nothing. She's improvising.

These colour pages really boost the comic.
I think she has some rough idea of what she thinks she's going to do. It's anyone's guess how much of it will survive intact, and I guess a lot of it depends on how familiar she is with the mine.
I think she might be trying to make up for "going possum" before - she might feel like she let her friends get captured, and that might be causing her to be a little reckless on top of her stated stubbornness.

He's STILL got the wrong picture up.

No idea where any of the paper in Endtown comes from. You'd think a highly perishable good based on the now-unattainable fiber of plants that degrades with recycling would be one of the rarest substances in Endtown, especially after almost a decade, but they just throw it around any old how.

She doesn't really look that old. I think it's the style of glasses she's wearing that's giving her that look.

>Do you think they'll try and claim the burned corpse as evidence of an earlier, serial-killer-style murder and say Heather set fire to her own shop to try and gain sympathy and cover things up?
I fell like that is what is going to happen. Two dead wolves in one night seems like something that the wolves would latch on to regardless of who was at fault.

Thanks for the names. I really like Patty and Petunia.
>Even ignoring arsonwolf it still doesn't look good forensically; she did attack the wolf from behind and his corpse would reflect that in damage to the skull.
It might not look good but there is also the fact that this was not the first time Heather was attacked by wolves and it was a full grown man following a woman into a dark ally. You'd have to try pretty hard to get jury to convict her, but if the wolves hear about it they'll take it and run with it.
>>11386127
>it was a full grown man following a woman into a dark ally.
Unfortunately for Heather the only witness to that that we know of is likely to slant things in the other direction.
