Fuck yes this was nice. I love predator-prey relationships, I love how they more seriously embrace what a big deal vore is even between willing parties. Prey and pred where both want to do it but are very hesitant because they love each other, whether it's about pred worrying about hurting their little love and such worries, or because they both know someone IS going to get hurt doing it for sure and there are no ways back.
My only complaint was about the part from swallowing to ending being a bit short. You could have easily and pleasantly stretched it out more than that. As it stands the story is a bit front-loaded, which I understand, but if someone reads the descriptive-heavy early part they are not going to be frustrated by it later on once the action gets rolling.
So basically, the only issue was that there wasn't enough to this! Write more for /vore/ in the future too please.

Thanks a lot anon, I'll write something else taking into account your suggestions as soon as I can find the will to do it. And to adress your ctiticisms, I'm glad you read that version of the story, cause the actual swallowing and afterwards was even shorter, and I expanded it. I know it sounds like a shoddy excuse but I very much insert as pred in this fetish so I was running out of ideas to how it would feel and go after that, and even what would someone who inserts as prey would like. That's also why the prey mc is a bit of a blank slate and I rarely described how he felt, I wanted to leave that to the reader. On top of that, I wanted to leave the whole thing open-ended.

So, what would you suggest to fix that next time? Go into more detail? Make an afterwards scene where the pred does something with his prey inside? I'm all ears.

You could make the whole swallowing part even more erotic and sexual. Sex into straight up vore is OK but it could be just rigorous mawplay and teasing. With penises. Maybe even little bit of gulping, then back up, repeat until exhausted(maybe even both) and then just have the prey crawl in to their mouth at their own pace.
It's not everyone's thing but for me and still loads of other prey, seeing predator's mouth(inside AND outside) and the rest of their internal parts is highly arousing. Of course you'd mostly just see up to their throat and no further and past that point sounds, and sensations can be slowly described.
Another thing that I like is prey resting inside for a good period of time. Any of this time inside described more is a big plus to me. The prey would have so much time to react and go through all kinds of mental shifts like pure panic - and also have it dissipated as the pred hugs their belly sensually and nuzzles it to let them know it's all right.
More on the eroticism, pred masturbating after eating the prey is one of my favorites.
Just think about it, you'd be right in their middle, you could feel and hear everything going on outside and with them... god I want someone do this to me.

one more thing I was thinking: making MC simply easy to insert into isn't usually better because even though you can see them do similar stuff to what you'd do it's not a video game where you do all kinda stuff, but meanwhile someone with set personality can be far more pleasing to read. I like the idea of giving someone else the responsibility of your safety, regardless of how it ends. It's sort of a position of authority so them making the decision on if I'm gonna be left die or not is fine. I'd rather live, but if they don't want that from me then what can one do I wouldn't have tried up to that point if I wanted to escape.
Preds that could ensure your safety even if not necessarily your comfort are great though, because it tips the balance of wanting to be lured in by them vs wanting to not suffer and die immediately in their favor big time.

Well that depends. If you want to be actual plush, then yeah its possible. Just gotta find someone willing to make it. If you want the stomach to feel, that's harder. Both require some place to breathe (duh), but to be realistic you'd have to put someone kind of saliva flow system where once it reaches the bottom of the stomach it goes back up the wall to drip back down. Then, if it's too hot, that because a different health problem. So, I'd probably get just plush then. If I had the talent, I would make one of a frog.

And there it is again. That bittersweet emotion that comes from juggling between your own mortality and desires. That conflict tearing my head apart for very little reason.
Vore is like my one bug in my basic reasoning process. Like a CPU consistently making calculations incorrectly but always the same way under specific circumstances.
It shouldn't even be much of a deal because it just means living with just another fantasy kink just like everyone else these days which matter very little in the big picture. But I have always found this particular kink to be very important and personal to me and I don't really understand why. Which is unusual because typically I am very self-aware(not the inhibited sort tho).

The whole concept of just allowing yourself to not care about anything including your own life or death and accepting that you no longer have the responsibility over those.
Or that's how I process it anyhow, but the point is that fatal stuff can become enjoyable if you learn to disregard your main issue with it which is actually acceptable under the circumstances that the fantasy remains a fantasy.
Once you're past that you can just focus on how incredibly arousing it actually is to let a predator take you in for good, pass out within their body even if you have a likely chance of never waking up or just to let them melt you into more parts of themselves until even your consciousness passes.
Some people including myself probably have qualms about how uncomfortable the experience would be if they're likely to die with it which makes sense, but doesn't actually require much hoops to write around with. Or you could be a straight up masochist, but not exactly something you can DO with that and everyone experiences similar physical sensations. Either way it doesn't have to be painful even if it can be.

Frankly, just snoozing away in there seems like such an obvious idea that I'm surprised by how rare it actually is to see it.
And I get it, you could easily be pretty uncomfortable in there for several reasons. But at the same time, snug surroundings, warm, thick air, steady motion(assuming the pred is also staying still) aren't exactly deterring to falling asleep.
You'd just have to accept letting go and allow yourself to relax...which I guess is completely dependent on the nature of situation on whether you're able to do that. It would take some massive iron nerves to be able to stay calm well enough to fall asleep when you knew that a painful doom was imminent.
I often have this nightmarish vision of passing out in a predator's belly when I know I'm in there for good, hoping to get away from any major suffering with just that, but it's in vain and I end up waking up later when the oxygen deprivation just isn't enough to keep me under from the pain of the damage that my body has sustained at that point. Gives me the shivers.
Yeah, having just either oxygen or acids in a belly would both be better than having both.

Not really. I cannot put myself into that situation without ignoring all the uncomfortable parts of it. The humidity and heat, the total lack of light and fresh air, the smell, being covered in irritating body fluids. The only thing I find kinda nice are the sounds, like hearing the pred's heart beating from the inside.

Same for being a pred, I cannot imagine how uncomfortable would be to have a giant mush of food sitting in my stomach pushing all my vital organs aside, making it impossible to walk straight and ocasionally kicking me from the within.

Even if I try hard and ignore all those, I still dont find it that hot. I much prefer to watch.
