I know that most of us don't like TIWTLLL, IWS, Spin, Black Jack and the like
But, would you want them to stay underwhelming like that or would you want to see the story GET BETTER?
I mean, it might just be me, but Black Jack seems to be straying away from that Korea teenage love triangle trophe and actually go somewhere. I am both glad and saddened by this, for as much as I want to see where the road leads to, a selfish part in me wished that it wouldn't, for the parodies made when the train wrecked itself could be so good!
The current fan-comic that got updated most frequently right now is Savage company. And while I have reservation whenever it is brought up (forced wildehopps is something that I truly despite) I have to admit that the increase in quality, and the plot, is impressive - some might disagree, but that is what I feel

Sure, reading a bad story could be funny for the train wreck value of it but doesn't really contribute anything significant to the fandom (unless it shows what NOT to do in a story), and just leaves you craving for an actual good story.

The issue is, rarely when a story starts off bad, or just declines in quality, does it ever get back up. If a story started off with Judy cheating, or progressed to have Judy cheat, would you have any faith that the story would get "better" at any point afterward?

When Interspin-whatever started focusing on Max Midnight, there was basically a point of no return when everyone realized that WildeHopps was just a lure, and this was about the greek-faced hybrid furry man now.
Black Jack MAY be moving away from the teenage love triangle trope, but it is also held down by long ass update periods, the baggage of Nick and Judy still acting out of character or just plain shits, and the whole "secret mission" thing that WE STILL DON'T HAVE A HINT OF. Hard to put any faith into that comic considering all of that, and very easily could go back into the love triangle crap.
Let us not even get started on written stories rather than comics...

So yeah, I would like to see stories improve over time, but rarely does it ever happen.
