I usually gladly accept critique, but this time I say fuck you. This is one the things I try to stay careful to avoid and I usually do. I don't do frontals with an inclined muzzle, if the muzzle is inclined is a 3/4. And I try to be careful of the inclination and length.
Maybe in older days for me it was more common, but now I stay very careful of this, especially since mongooses have a weird as fuck huge muzzle.

Its how some people offer criticism. Personally I think its not very beneficial to do that to anyone. Venting frustration about how people lash out when they offer valid criticism or wave it aside while still making a ton of bad decisions and mistakes is one thing, but stomping on a person was never my preferred way of spending time. I even think it was kind of low to send a bunch of fucked up pictures of Max Midnight to Spin.
I'd say this is proof about how doing this to others is harmful because it normalizes that behavior closer to home too. Everyone can improve, and everyone can be better at giving feedback.

I didn't like that the case was solved because Gideon called a flower a nighthowler, a apparently already known of flower that's known affects causes batshit crazyness in mammals if they eat it.

First I would have liked if it was solved with actual detective work, clues forming a giant puzzle that slowly comes together instead of just "We always just called those nighthowlers"

Second, how is this plant not more known about? How can they not detect it in the mammals? They seem pretty freaking sciency with their massive multi-biomed city so I feel it's kinda odd that they can't pin down a foreign agent in the affected mammals bloodstream or something.

The weakest element of the story for me was Judy's conduct during the press conference. She's been an actual police officer at this point for all of a few days, and she’s the one talking to the media like she’s an expert. Law enforcement agencies typically have information officers whose job is to liaise with the public and the press - for image and PR purposes, sure, but more importantly to make sure information is accurate and verified and meets certain legal requirements for disclosure and is not slanderous.

Judy wasn’t exactly wrong when she said some predators were reverting to their primitive, savage ways; but she was indeed speculating at the time - which probably didn’t do much to help public stability.

In the scene’s defense, this objection is me splitting hairs for the fun of a little story about a chipmunk who drinks too much coffee. Journalists and LEOs might catch it, but it’s not a huge deal; it did what it needed to and provided a tense, spotlit moment that set the stage for Nick’s reaction.

I feel like the ice cream shop would have been a perfect place to show Nick first seeing it, and then just sprinkle little interactions throughout the case where Nick is hesitant due to it.

The issue is the symbolism associated with the repellent wouldn't allow it; Judy's parents initially wanted to give her a whole bag full of anti-fox stuff, but Judy only took the small repellent thinking "I won't ever use this, it is just a small thing". We see she defaults to it when she first sees Nick, but then it never comes back up again until the press conference. I can bet that a lot of people consciously forgot about the can until that scene; they KNEW she still had it in theb ack of their heads, but it wasn't really an issue until she goes for it again when Nick bluffs her. It is meant to show we have to watch out for prejudice at all times, even when we think we "defeated" it in ourselves, because it just takes a small amount of it to turn a situation ugly. That symbolism is kind of ruined if the repellent is put into the spotlight often enough.

Snapping at him makes an enemy.
I think ASig is cool and nobody should be shit on, and he's gotten it bad in the past and that sucks. But the best thing for him to do is remember we love him and to be humble in the face of aggression, because that's the response everyone should have. It's just the best way of dealing with it when it comes up, whatever the reason for it is.

We actually had a tlak about this last year.

Different hospitals in different parts of the world deal with different ailments, all dealt with by doctors with varying amounts of medical education and regional education. A doctor in India deals with different diagnoses than a doctor in Main, USA for instance.

So while this countryside flower has a reputation about it, it was always dealt with by countryside doctors, and as such no cases ever appeared in the city, and the flower remained relatively unknown by the populace at large.

You're just pushing yourself to more difficult tasks. Learning how to draw is simple, but keeping yourself in good shape is hard. We can't function as a straight line, we have good and bad times. But don't worry, you will survive this phase without problem.

Remind yourself about all the art you made, your best experiences, your weakest moments, and what does it means drawing to you. All the people you met, and the things you achieved because of it.

Go for the basics, AND ASK FOR FEEDBACK, find a picture that you wanna practice, even if just for practice, and draw it. Don't pay attention to the minor details, just keep drawing, keep yourself drawing, if you wanna take a rest, take it, because art is meant to be enjoyed. And don't forget to sign it.
